In my state and region Rajouts dominaye everything alongside Kathi Kshatriyas.

While Bharwad, Rabari and Maldhari quams will be 2nd in the list as semi nomadic people.

I m from Kathiawar, Gujarat state in India. We are namedafter kathi kshatriyas.

Kathiya are bit different.

They are Kshtriyas like rajputs but mostly they dont identify as Rajputs.

Oh I get it now then you are not Kshatriyas I'm afraid. Only Kshatriyas from Rajasthan and Gujarat are Rajputs. No offense buddy.
For instance Ravindra Jadeja is a Rajput. It's not something to be proud of but that's how it is .

That's because the concept of caste doesn't really work in the modern world, at least not in the old way where people basically treated low castes like lepers. There will always be class division, there still is here in Britain no matter how we might consider ourselves above it, but it is there.

Like I said it isn't formalized, other than "chura" nobody knows any other castes. Also Punjab doesn't rep all of Pakistan.

I was asking about tribes that dominates The region, i know that punjabi, Sindhi and Kashmiri muslims in pakistan as well as in India are of Humble/sudra(?) Origin.

I was asking about tribes such as Baloch or Pathan that dominates in Pakistan. For example Zardari in Sindh etc.

Indeed reddys are a big tribe in South India amd majority can easily pass as north indians.

I know two raddys and one of them is my professor, hes as fair as a North Indian can be.

Not really. Most reddys are very dark. Same with Kapu caste. Most of them are dark. There will always be exceptions.
On the other hand Kamma caste people tend to be a bit lighter skinned. I have read some where they have mixed with Brahmins in the coastal part of Andhra.

Overall, Telugu people range from Very dark to dark brown. Light skinned people with Punjabi looks are a rarity.

I'm Desi as they come, not keeping at all, read previous post I make it quite clear I am a hick from the mountains of what is considered to be Asad Kashmir.

I would have thought that the line, and they call _us_ coloured, would have given the game away.

The Yorkshire reference is because recently moved here from the south and it's new to me, my lifestyle, my environment, and I'm in a city.

Are you from famous Pahari Gujjar tribe ? They are very famous among North west regiin as martial nomadic tribe.

Unfortunately valley kashmiris dint consider these peopke as pure Kashmiris.
