Climate change is a serious global threat and Pakistan is considered among countries that are likely to suffer from extreme weather conditions.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. Shallow foggy conditions are expected to prevail over Punjab during morning hours.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weather remained cold and dry across the country, minimum temperature of some major cities recorded this morning are
Islamabad 6 degree celsius,
Lahore 13°C,
Karachi 17°C,
Peshawar 10°C,
Murree 5°C,
Muzaffarabad 9°C,
Quetta and Gilgit 0°C.

It is the time that the government and people of Pakistan should take climate change seriously as it is one of the leading threats in the coming months ahead.

Jeetu bhai you spend an awful lot on time on Pakistani newspaper sites :afridi

Also these weathers are the norm in most of these places. The real effect of climate change can be seen in the months of June and July where peak temperatures are breaking records every year.

Pakistan is not equipped for either weather as in summer and winter.

In summer there is no light so heat levels go a few notches up as it is and then in the winters no gas/electricity issues which make it feel even more colder than it actually is.

If climate change means it'll snow in the major Pakistani cities, then I'm all for it!

Lol that's not cold. Only Murree & Quetta and Gilgit are cold.

Very good days with beautiful weather in Canada. :)

It always feels colder in Pakistan, no central heating or insulation in most buildings.

No such thing as a 'norm' temperature; it all depends on the season. Besides, these are proper cold temperatures for the people back home. Apart from the northern areas where it snows in Dec-Feb, these temperatures are pretty much as low as it gets in cities like Peshwar, Lahore and Karachi.

Of course you would know that if you lived in Pakistan, but since you don't, spare us your ignorance. :yk3
