Thunderbolt14 and Da_Future_Knick have gone with a similar philosophy to myself, with lots of versatile aggressive batsmen, and i think thats the right strategy for modern ODI cricket, but thunder he gets my vote with lara, inzi, maxi and pandya. i really wanted maxwell.

i still think i have assembled a really good team, but believe competition is better way of showing its merits than just talking, so if anyone wants to challenge my team let me know, ill simulate a knockout match in icc2020, first come first serve basis.

I'd go with Forward Defensive Push's team. Brilliantly aggressive batsmen and four wonderful fast bowlers.

Ab Fan has a pretty strong team too, especially with Viv Richards and Rohit Sharma in the top order. Those bowlers look a handful.

The other team that's looking rather scary is Rayyman's. If Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers get settled at the crease, no score is out of range. A marvellous mix of death bowlers in there, but my fear is they are a tad similar which might reduce the shock value.

My own team might not have any of the new-fangled T20 specialists, but contains world class cricketers who would hold their own against any of the others. If the pitch has the slightest hint of movement, god help any batsman against DK Lillee and Allan Donald.

Then there are the two wrist spinners who would perfectly complement modern day white ball tactics on the field.

Virat Kohli and Ben Stokes bring enough firepower on their own to put up good totals. I also have one of the most innovative thinkers that has ever played the game in the middle order, he'll find a way to adapt to any cricket match.

My trump card is obviously Lord Botham with his knack of picking wickets with long hops and half volleys. He'd be the most valuable T20 player if he was around in this era.

At the end of the day, Warne, Lillee, Botham, Kohli, and Stokes possess the right balance of arrogance and ability to win any cricket match.

All teams have great bowling attacks and batting as well. So the teams that are most valuable are those who have depth and for that reason I think these are the best teams:

1) The real AB
2) Da_Future_Knick
3) Thunderbolt14

Wow this is tough. I feel every team is very evenly matched, and can all dominate on their day.

I’ve been thinking a lot, and I’ve narrowed down my favorites to Future Knick, Mumtaz, ElRaja and FDP — still finding it difficult to decide whom from between them. There’s a clever mix of reliable anchors and dynamic batsmen and some deathly bowling lineups.

I would say mumtaz takes it for me. Batting is stylish, aggressive, reliable, and most importantly, deep. I feel depth with the finishers is one area which is essential in ODIs now. Some extremely destructive bowling too - very narrowly edges out the other names.

That would be fantastic. I volunteer!

the team selected as the first team is given a penalty for simulating the game, which is a shame, my xi got battered in the end. :/

world xi game 1.JPG
world xi game 2.JPG

might swap the teams around so the penlaties are equal for another game later.

Babar Azam run out, that’s rough! I’ve never tried simming on ICC, does it do the graphics too or just the scorecard?

I would love to bro. Put my team against yours

ikr, buttler too, i think thats the way the game penalises the "player" for simming their games.

just the scorecard, and its a bit finnicky, u have to select 13 players, so two of em have to bit really bad so they they dont end up in the xi accidently.

the fairest way would be to alternate the xi and select the other as the player 1 team. ideally you could sim without penalty.

Thunderstorm XI is really poorly constructed. Would finish last in a tournament.

ElRaja how do I simulate games, I would be willing to simulate a knockout tournament

ElRaja how do I simulate games, I would be willing to simulate a knockout tournament

you download the latest international cricket captain demo, u choose tournament, then all time great series, and the world xi A and world xi B teams.

then u have to choose format, so 1 day test or t20. in demo mode u can only do two games at a time, so i choose 1 game tour.

then u have to select a 13 members squad, the 11 the player chooses, plus 2 really bad wicket keepers so they never get selected in the xi automatically.

then u just sim the game, unfort the team u select first gets a penalty because u sim the result instead of playing the game.

I think only the contestants should vote for their top 3 other than themselves and their scores should be tallied.

Thanks brother!

No offence but didn't liked any of the teams :haider.

Btw, mumtaz has all lefties in his team except McGrath.
