Yep should have buried it. Expected more from arsenal but psg tactics were spot on, controlled the pace and had more possession away from home.

PSG almost certain to score at home, arsenal scoring 3 may need a miracle but its possible with a great performance and some luck to score first to take the match all the way.

PSG has overall more quality .

I was watching the game on Prime and I agree with Alan Shearer. He was saying Partey would've swept that ball up when it was played into Dembele in the lead up to his goal.

PSG wasted numerous chances in Liverpool, Villa ties and this one. If they were clinical then the games wudnt have even been close.

Same happened with havertz, Martinelli and trossard who have all reverted to type as well.

There is a stat somewhere that in the PL thats he's been subbed off over 60 times in 145 games or so..

That's just shocking for someone who is the captain

His cup and European performances have been much better.

All this talk in face base thst we need a back up for him, reality is we need an upgrade. Even if he's moved deeper position, he's lack of physicality will just get shown up.

He's not at the Alonso / carzola level to be playing further back.

With 2 statues in front of him it's no shock we no control in midfield

If we sign a so called number 9 in summer.

Either havertz or merino are both going to be used again in midfield and these 2 are so **** in that position its unreal

Merino was awful in midfield and literally offered nothing.

I lost count how many times PSG quick one touch passing just by passed the 2 statues in midfield.

Zero control, zero mobility.

Again people with think it's a so called Agenda

Has Merino done well as a make shift striker? Yes.

Reality is he was signed as a midfielder, to essentially replace havertz in midfield (another failure).

Have we replaced xhaka in that position no..

If this club wants to win PL title, the club ain't with such midfielders

If partey leaves in summer, out midfiled options are rice, oddegard, havertz and Merino before any new signings come in then this club will is in serious trouble in terms of quality in the midfield

People need to focus on players primary positions and the bigger picture. All tonight showed is that Arsenal midfield needs just as much surgery as the attack does

The game was fairly reminiscent of last year when Musiala was toying with your midfield. Quality midfielders play in pockets which is very difficult to pick up.

Same happened last night. Not one of your midfield solved the puzzle last night. It was like Cart Donkeys chasing shadows!

Even with the starting 11 he could have made changes in swapping merino and shoving him up front and moving trossard back. Play some long balls if they had to.
