Odegaard needs to step up , so poor with the ball . Midfield is being carried by rice. When hes tired will be dangerous for arsenal . Saka needs more passes too
PSG usual wastefulness in front of goal is only reason this game isn't over
Another amazing world class performance at ghosting.
Hope all thein this thread that were backing him at end of last year have finally get some sense of reality.
Calm down lad. End of last season he performed very well so no need to start calling people clowns.Another amazing world class performance at ghosting.

Yeah we can thank our lucky stars it's only 1-0Only 1-0. We are lucky it's only 1-0 tbh
We are still in the tie somehow, anything can happen.
Donaruma made 2 world class saves when he had to.
Partey Partey Partey.. That's all I've been saying all season.
Needs a slap he does
He had a few decent games last season. Dissapeared when it mattered most.Calm down lad. End of last season he performed very well so no need to start calling people clowns.
This season he has been pathetic. His downfall needs to be studied.
Considering we only played with 10 men I think 1-0 is not a disaster
How dare fans rate a midfielder after a 15 goal season. What fools they areHe had a few decent games last season. Dissapeared when it mattered most.
Supposedly I had an Agenda
An Agenda against mediocre players
I said all along this guy is overated
That once season where he got 15 goals, was an anomaly. All he's done since is revert to the decent at best level he's at.
Time to move on from such players, espcially if Arsenal want to win PL titles.
PSG wasted numerous chances in Liverpool, Villa ties and this one. If they were clinical then the games wudnt have even been close. So PSG were disciplined tonight. Hence, stuck at it. Like i said, PSG midfield just to strong.
Let's face it, premier leagues best midfield pairing, Gravenberg and Maccalister were schooled by these guys. Let's face it, Arsenal don't have anyone as good as them going by this season.
But all is not lost. PSG do have phases where they can switch off. You guys better pray that is the case
For the record he's annoyed me more and more as the season has gone on. He's in the team cos he is teachers pet at this point. He had a few decent games last season. Dissapeared when it mattered most.

It's called getting premature excited at a player over performing. How dare fans rate a midfielder after a 15 goal season. What fools they are
There is a stat somewhere that in the PL thats he's been subbed off over 60 times in 145 games or so..For the record he's annoyed me more and more as the season has gone on. He's in the team cos he is teachers pet at this point.
Drop him if we could
Witrtz will either go to bayern or Man city (if they aren't banned after 115 Court case)Gooners should break their wage structure and break the bank for Florian wirtz. Static Midfielders can only do so much, specially when they come up against world class players. In Wirtz , Gooners would potentially have a Top top Midfielder

The best Arsenal can get is Guler or eze
We all know what Arsenal owners are like when it comes to ambitionYou want to challenge for the Top honour's yiu got to attract the best.
Yes, Both Bayern and City are monitoring him closely. But surely Gooners have to go for the best to get to the Top
Merino was awful in midfield and literally offered nothing.I thought Merino did fine in midfield. He lacks legs which doesn't help when Skipper is skipping about hiding
Agreed for this game. Unfortunately, not the outcome we wanted. Time to drop Odegaard and give Nwaneri a go in the second leg.Same here - gives option to leave Trossard & Nwanieri to make an impact off the bench if required as well.
Partey was misses big time tonight, which meant Rice had to play further back.
With 2 statues in front of him it's no shock we no control in midfield
If we sign a so called number 9 in summer.
Either havertz or merino are both going to be used again in midfield and these 2 are so **** in that position its unreal
I thought the same. I was thinking this is like the Newcastle semi.Arsenal players and manager should be thanking their lucky stars it's only 0-1 last night.
Can Arsenal win 2nd leg when Partey returns? Yes then can.
However longterm the **** poor back up midfield, the managers clueless in game management was shown up last night.
Is there any point Arsenal even having a subs bench?
Last night was like watching the Newcastle league cup semi final all over again.
Even with the starting 11 he could have made changes in swapping merino and shoving him up front and moving trossard back. Play some long balls if they had to.I thought the same. I was thinking this is like the Newcastle semi.
Come to think of it Mikel selected the 11 we expected with Partey being out. But with it not working he had to change something and he didn't. He really needs to learn now to adapt which he is showing no sign of.
Should they boo him?Why the hell are fans applauding oddegard when he went off?![]()
Tie is far from over, PSG should really have scored a few of the other chances they had and taken a 2-3 goal lead and that would have made it tie overGame over for Arsenal , PSG were too dominant

Can Arsenal go there and win? Absolutely but they'll have to play better than they did last night
PSG will aim for a fast start next week so Arsenal need to just sit back, don't be too adventurous, stay in the game and aim to start attacking in the second half
Ye the club is getting a lot of stick. It will take a monumental effort in Paris but it's not impossible.
The atmosphere last night was toxic
Ye the club is getting a lot of stick.
It didn't help that we conceded so early but the TIFO was embarrassing.
A lot of supporters groups that the club work with were cut out of the discussions in what was the biggest game at the Emirates.
Ultimately the players and managers need to perform on the pitch but as Rooney aslo pointed out fans can give you that extra lift. It worked vs Real.
Yet more signs that the club is so out of touch with the fans and just care about the money.
Talking of money. One supporters group actually raised over £10k and the club rejected their ideas.
They probably weren't great but couldn't have been worse than the effort the club made
Reality is now that the owners and Club just want seats filled by whoever is willing to pay most money on a match day.Ye the club is getting a lot of stick.

What I mean by that is, if you go to the game every week, just pay for your ticket. Club only makes so much.
But if a tourist watched game, they buy food, drinks, merchandise etc.. as a day out the club makes more money.
This is sadly the case at a lot of big clubs now. So when it then comes to supporters clubs wanting input into club with ideas, the club doesn't care, nor do the owners.
so you will eventually end up with games where a lot if crowd is tourist who are there for a day out, which then effects atmosphere
At same time players waving their arms at crowd like its some sort of concert is pathetic. Maybe players should up their game and give the crowd something to be excited about
No different at Spurs, levy probably makes more money at non football events at spurs stadium than probably match day income. Its a corporate hospitality show .
The football Man is slowly being diminished for these Prawn Sandwich brigade.
That's the Sad reality. Maybe this is the reason Artetas lack of success is tolerated. As long as he finishes in The top4, the coffers come in, BINGO.
I should have clarified that by the atmosphere being toxic, I actually meant in my own home...
The swearing and all round anger was intolerable

Guys, no need to be disheartened, smashing PSG at home isn't for everyone![]()
I should have clarified further .Haha
I was quite the opposite. I was just emotionless seeing PSG just bopp us off the park thinking ye we are stuffed pretty early on.
Although over the years I don't really get angry anymore. Every so often something all wind me up but then life takes over and I move on.
Used to be a time when it would ruin my mood for days and I'd just be deflated. Not felt like that for a long time. Closest was the 3-3 home draw with Southampton a few seasons ago. I remember being so flat after that game but it was Eid the next day so moved on quick.
Tbh I prefer it like this. Its better for my health and wellbeing![]()
Well, don't I look a bit silly nowYou are right. However we'd already smashed them at home this season.
. Also in a group stage game
Try again![]()
I know I do go on about Partey a lot. His level has always been there but his biggest issue has been fitness.
He seems to have sorted those issues out this season and his availability has been good.
I want to ask a question. Who is as good as him in his role around the globe. Before people jump on me I am not saying he is the best in his role. But I am just wondering who we could replace him with because to me for Arsenal he is irreplaceable.
Zero goals for Arsenal in the last 6 semi final games they have played, that's a very pathetic record to say the least
Whose that? This season Gravenberg has played at 6. For me he's the best I've seen in that position in the Premier League this season.
Whose that?
He was brilliant at the beginning of the season but faded towards to end. Has been fantastic this season on the whole
My point was more to do with who we could get who is better, rather than who has been best in PL if that makes sense.
I just think upgrading on Partey especially with our system will be really difficult. Bruno G potentially but they are slightly different tbh
Kimmich was mentioned in the past but I'm pretty sure he commited to Bayern by signing a new contract. In current Arsenal system, with Partey playing DM, his ball carrying skills and ability to play progressive passes through the lines. Your not going to replace that as other than Rodri, it's hard to find players who can do that.
Caciedo would have been the perfect long term replacement for Partey, but that ain't going to happen.
So you now have to look at more conveniental number 6 as in they just break up play, do a job and pass the ball side ways and let others get on with it.
Other option is you get a deep lying number 6, in old mould of a xavi alonso or carzola, but that mean probably a change in system for Arsenal.
Kimich would be a short term option with him bring 30 and available on a free. Camavinga or touchemami would be good options, If Madrid decided to let one go.
Otherwise zubemendi would be just a kind of destructive number 6.
Whoever Arsenal sign, they are going to have to pretty much settle in and have to perform to a high level straight away. Espcially If Partey leaves.
We already saw how havertz in midfield caused Arsenal slow start 2 seasons ago, Merino non existent performances in midfield and oddegard dissapearing this season has meant no title challenge.
Arsenal won't have the luxury of a bedding in period for new midfielder, simply because other then Rice, the rest simply don't step up.
If it takes a Zubimendi for example half a season or even a season to get use to the PL, that will be another challenge at title down the drain. So the pressure of replacing Partey will come with a lot of pressure.
The fact the clubs wasted 130M on 3 left-sided 8s, and now decided that Rice will play their longterm. Replacing Partey simple can't occur with same incompetent recruitment
We pretty much need to give Partey 2 more years and get someone in at same time.
