India's problem is mostly going to be form of certain players rather than pressure. They know what pressure is. Axar patel came in at 34/3 in world cup final made 47 in 31 balls before being run out. Then Dube came in at 106/4 and made 27 in 16 balls. These two are not even regular main batsmen. They know about pressure.

Kuldeep is not untouchable. Heck even Afghanistan has done way way better than Pakistan against Kuldeep. Kuldeep's ER in T20 against Afghanistan is 9.00. Kuldeep's ER in T20 againts pakistan is 6.12. Your team is no good against spin. You struggled against oman, UAE, Afghan all kind of spinners. It doen't have to be kuldeep.

But some hardcore fans don't rate their chances based on their world standing, but based on one ball encounter, two ball encounter. They always go overboard with these one over battle, one ball battle while missing the bigger picture. What will these fans do in the world cup when they get beat down from bigger teams? This is a hit and giggle format where anyone can win against any team. Even here they have a record of 0-7 against India. Zimbabwe beat this current Indian team defending 111 runs. Afghanistan tied with this Indian team before losing in super over. Do you see any of them going overboard?

It's interesting that despite India having upper hand on Pakistan off late. They lose more to Pakistan in the Final matches.

Well actually this is true. Pak are hopeless against spin. Any kind of spin. We crumble even in front of Pie chuckers like that Pawar guy 20 years ago or Nathan Hauritz.

But I wonder if the dew factor comes into it if India are bowling second. Might not grip the ball. Never the less for a no 1 team against a no7 team the writing would appear to be on the wall.
