When: Tuesday, December 8, 2020. 19:10 Local Time

Where: Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)

What to expect: Sydney is set to be hit by a cold wave from the western part of the country. And the players will feel the chill as they walk out to the centre of the SCG on Tuesday evening. Expect to see some of them in jumpers, and maybe even with some handwarmers in the pocket, like with Kohli in Canberra. The action should revert to the more central pitch on the square, which should eliminate the short boundary quandary that both batting and bowling teams have to contend with, unless of course when you have Hardik Pandya on strike.

Squads:

Australia Squad: Matthew Wade(w/c), D Arcy Short, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Moises Henriques, Marcus Stoinis, Daniel Sams, Sean Abbott, Mitchell Swepson, Adam Zampa, Andrew Tye, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon, Alex Carey, Aaron Finch, Marnus Labuschagne

India Squad: KL Rahul(w), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli(c), Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, T Natarajan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mayank Agarwal, Manish Pandey, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah

Sydney Cricket Ground will have 100% capacity for the third T20 between India vs Australia happening tomorrow.

Sanju Samson should be replaced with Mayank. I am not seeing any big scores from Samson.

Mayank is practising with Bumrah in Drummoyne Oval for red ball cricket as per what I read in cricbuzz.

Bumrah and shami should have been playing the 3 day practice game instead of sitting here doing nothing. They should get as much test match practice as they could get.

Australia have no excuses today. They should somehow avoid this humiliating whitewash by India Z team because they are playing in their home conditions!

India (Playing XI): KL Rahul(w), Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli(c), Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, T Natarajan, Yuzvendra Chahal

Yeah that's why those some teams top the ranking charts for years.

Then stop moaning about "D teams" when your own team reached that fake no.1 spot by beating the so called D teams alongside Scotland and Zimbabwe.

Stop embarrassing the sensible Pak posters here with your constant wailing.

Finally a wicket for Washy....

Has been extremely unlucky this series.

It's what it is full strength Australian side will show your auqaat soon

It's been 4 years since your team beat a full strength Australia in any format anywhere. Keep that in mind before talking about anyone's "auqaat".

Smith is extremely good. Doing what Kohli does for India- finding gaps when boundaries are difficult. Need to get him out.

Oh your little insecurities. You can't post anything here without bringing Pakistan into it. Thread is about India vs Australia. I am sure even he knows India is currently better than Pakistan but as a member of this forum he can comment on Ind vs Aus upcoming series in a related thread. Grow up. :inti

They did whitewash a sttonger austtalian side 3-0 the t20 seriea last yeat tbh.

Looks like this will be the last match for Manish Pandey as 12th man.

Three bad innings in a row from Smith, he has cost Aus this match just like the last match.

Washington Sundar gets some reward for his bowling: Finishes off with 2/34

Smith always seems to be trying too hard in T20 format unlike in the other formats where he bats like a champion.

Bro ur competition is not Pak. Its England Aus NZ in big tournaments. High time ur team starts winning some ICC's

Wade is batting very well. I wonder if he continues to open the innings when Warner gets back into the team.

Consecutive fifties for Wade.

He is the only Australia wicket-keeper to make a 50-plus score in men's T20Is and he has done it thrice!
All three half-centuries have come against India as an opener.

Maybe Wade and Warner should Open with Finch at 3. Smith shouldn't be playing t20s. High Time they brought some explosive batsmen like Maxwell in the middle order.

Virat is one hell of a cheat like jeez man how low can you stoop for a wicket like he talked about all that signalling from dressing room and now he does something even worst when he looked at the big screen he decided to review

Its not his mistake if the big screen shows the replay within the 15 second time limit.

Team India taken the review but it was denied by the 3rd umpire because the replay was shown on the big screen.:))

It would've been OUT, unlucky miss for India and T Natarajan.

Is the time limit 17 seconds these days? I havent been following the rule changes.

What I meant was Virat reviewed at 17 seconds. Replay was shown at 15 seconds after the time limit was over, so Virat was out of bounds for referring that

Neither the bowler nor the keeper was interested. No unluckiness involved, just lack of intuition by Natarjan and Rahul.

It's so amazing watching Maxwell bat.
Him and Buttler are outright a treat.

True he is a cheat but smart. He puts on this fake persona which gets exposed whenever he feels the heat. And his brainwashed fans support this cheating since hey Aussies deserve it

Then the umpire is at fault for not turning it down when Kohli asked for the review.

What shot was that on free hit. Lol. Just swing thr bat even if you miss, you aren't getting out dude.
