Australia comfortably placed on 346/5 at end of Day 1 of the 1st Test against Pakistan

These extras will cost Pakistan. No point in trying too hard and then ending up bowling it way too high or way too wide or a No ball. I wonder if the bowling coaches of Pakistan can do something about it because I think they are sleeping.
 
Totally brainless bowling. Short, wide, too full, leg stumps. All over the place.

I remember Fawad Alam was recalled to the team for tests directly for tough series against England & New Zealand instead of home series. In my opinion a debutant & a player returning after a long time or injury must be first tried in home series so that he can get some confidence & rhythm

Anyways Aamer Jamal is not worthy for a test place with his zero zip and nothing to back on stats.

The ultimate bits and pieces in the form of a seam bowled instead of spin.

Pak had the liking for this bits and pieces players who can spin the ball and they have a new dimension to it in the form Jamal.
 
Pakistan should stop tour to Australia .this humiliation is getting bigger and bigger day by day .
 
Akram is calling what i just said. Yes Pakistan players fitness are appalling. I can't see a single guy with agility. i think Malik is still more agile.

No spin what so ever in this pitch but Salman has done a fantastic job here.
 
Lyon took 8 wickets agianst India 5 years back to win the test at Perth stadium. Pitch will be more helpful for spinners in the coming days.
 
At the end of session 2, Australia is cruising at 210/2 with warner at 111* and smith at 21. Excellent partnership is building here for the Aussies.
 
Jamal may be the worst fast bowler we've given a test cap to in the last 10 years. That's quite an achievement when you consider the likes of Musa, Tabish Khan, Bilawal Bhatti etc have all been given caps.

His batting, from what I've seen, isn't any better than Hassan Ali's.
 
The fact that it's looking impossible to get these two out and there's still Head, Marsh, and Carey to come. Australia are going to look to declare tomorrow after getting bored with 550+ on the board
 
This was one of those pitch where you can keep creating opportunities something that Pakistan failed to do. Improper lengths. Lack of effective short balls. They allowed Warner to bat outside the crease entire innings. Same way not enough full balls for Khawaja who prediminantly gets stuck on backfoot. Not enough balls bowling over the wicket to warner slanting across. SKill level is very poor despite a lot of assitance from the surface in the 2nd half

Everything is wrong with this board. Jamal has potential in the LOIs but they ignore him for the shorter formats and for some reason pick him up for the test series vs Aus of all opponents. Him and Faheem both are wasted spots. Wasim Jr would have been zipping on this surface

Fantastic was looking for someone to put this up. He was treated as a normal bowler by the top 5 teams not as threatening new ball bowler.

If he can’t take wickets in Perth , he is totally toothless tbh.

He was named as test vice captain lol with an avg of 38 😂
 
I have been shouting out loud like an idiot that play two proper spinners Pakistan, regardless of pitch, play two proper spinners, and control the run rate. But no, our team management once again has been fooled by our pacers performance in the nets.

You can already see the impact of part spin by Agha Salman!

They select players to lose with a good/decent margin , and when pushed to the corner display some fighting knocks and spells , dive around get injured etc.

Wasim Jr isn't a test quality bowler either, especially outside of Asia. On these true pitches where reverse isn't a huge factor he would be slaughtered.
 
Once again proven Australia is one of the most unforgivable place to tour. They are just too clinical.
 
Our fielding sucks bad. Aussies really get lucky with midfield should be 4 down.

All Asian sides struggle with fielding.

They should have selected Nouman Ali. Going in with 4 pacers and no spinner is asking pacers to bowl 20overs each every day mostly. If Aus rack upto 500 then pacers would end up bowling 40 overs in an inns probably and will be injured for the rest of the series.

60 to 70 overs from pacers across 5 days seems overkill and will make them injured

I don’t think Shaheen will last this series.

How the heck did a second third string Indian bowling attack bring down the AUssies?

Do they have analysts or not? Can these bowlers land the bowl at a particulat spot or not? Do they have any sort of control on their bowling or not? If the answer is no for all of these questions, then what is the incentive for a Pakistani cricket fan to watch this series?

At Perth, a first innings score of 400 + rules out a win for the side batting second .

Only exception is 2017/18 when England lost after scoring 405 odd.

OZ and Marnus should tur giving up a wicket to Faheem. They should just look to grind PAK bowlers to dust on the way to 400 +
 
Last year Australia scored 131 runs in the last session at Perth against West Indies. They might try again

I hope people now realise the importance of fitness camp which was held in Pindi before tour, where all milna julna and what phone are you carrying and which latest car you have purchased was discussed

Cant help but comment on the nasty & in your face toyo logo and wording in the centre of the Aussie shirts -Font size 72 and bold :), looks like they are playing for Toyota....the same with my country India- our guys look like they are playing for BYJU's or Dream11 or whichever bunch is interested in flogging their products at the expense of us viewers being eyesore....what a pity when commercial considerations win out...dilutes the game - me thinks
