All out. Wow. Carnage. Pakistan at its best. One minute down, next minute buried underground.
 
214/2 to 268 all out. This is what happens when your tail starts at 5.
 
Got to love the old Panicstan collapse. 8 wickets for 20.

Game is over. Aussie paceman are class, got to hand it to them. Exceptional stuff.

To be honest this should have been a 2-0 series walk-over for Aussies they have deserved it.
 
I don't see Pakistan surviving 120 overs in the 4th innings.

This has been an awful test series and this collapse is well earned by PCB.

123 runs the lead. Pretty decent. Australians need to make it count and put a target of minimum 300 plus
 
123 is already too much for Pakistan batsmen in 4th innings. They won't be able to save this test.
 
Starc and Cummins have been lethal well done, good lead for Aussies
 
Even a rrunrate of 2.8 would have given us a score of 325 but no its test cricket and we must play unnecesarily slow��
 
Even if Australia bat poorly they will score 200 tomorrow. That's 320+ to win on Day 5. Wet pants coming up for our batters.
 
Cummins deserves 5 fer he has been ridiculously unlucky since karachi test.

Starc has been unplayable, ridiculously good bowling

This doesn't look like a pitch where you can bat 120 overs and survive. If Pak bowles out Aus <150 now, it would be a close contest else i think Aus has already won this match.
 
What pathetic batting from Pakistan. It was decent bowling where pitch had not much going for bowlers. Total crap batting here.

Aus has a decent lead, but they have to bat quickly in the second inning to make it a match-winning one.

Poor 1st inning by Pakistan.
Australia will take some 90+ overs to score 300 and set target of 434-450.

Pakistan will survive after losing some 5-6 wickets to make it well deserved draw.
 
Match completely shifted when Babar and Fawad came out after Tea and hit 21 runs from 14.3 overs together. Both equally to blame imo, considering Babar was in and had played 66 balls already.
 
Flukes like Karachi do not happen all the time. Pakistan rode its luck and Australia made mistakes which they will not repeat this time.

Pakistan is a nothing team. Full of below average players and timid characters.

When they were distributing mithai you was crying. Majority of Pakistani fans are happy losing this test we deserve it. So I can understand the excitement of an Indian fan.

The only way Pak can hit back is get quick wickets. They should go with mentality if starc and cummins can do it, so can we. If they can get quick wickets and also get it to reverse, will be exciting

What a pathetic collapse by pakistan. 7 wickets for 20 runs. Aus should win this now . Cummins and starc riot havoc. Absolute sensational bowling .

I dont think so. Fawad was just that bad and it transferred over to Babar who wasn't getting much of the strike.

The plan seemed to me was to bat till post lunch on day 4, get a good deal Infront and send them back in.

There is no bounce in this wicket. if we had played 6 proper batsmen instead of tail enders like imam fawad etc.. we wouldnt be in this mess.

Australia won't make that mistake again. They will put Pakistan in late tomorrow after scoring briskly after lunch.

Not an excuse. We beat a team with Rabada, Nortje just a while back. Those wickets would have sufficed and we would have won the series. It's not like we haven't beaten Australia before.

Thanks to U tube. i just saw that bowling. The balls he got Rahul, saha, amit mishra i think he would have got 95 percent of batsmen worldwide with those deliveries. But on a video cassette once i saw malcolm marshall take lots of wickets , in i think Kanpur 1983 series. That bowling was on another planet. i think india was 10/4 at one stage.
 
Ball is not reaching where they stand, cant they even come in few yards closer to the stumps..

If the bounce and pace of the pitch is not helping the ball to carry to the keeper on Day 3 , why not in come in closer, simple logic..

You can't catch the ball with so little reaction time, but yah, it's better to give yourself a chance to catch it.
 
Pakistan aint chasing 250+ here. so they need to bowl Aussies out for 100 which wont happen.

For the next series pakistan will most definitely have different PCB setup. New chairman and selectors. Lets see what new comes our way.

There is a reason combination is important in every sport.

Playing 5 specialist bowlers on any wicket (Which many fans and experts have the tendency to recommend especially when they feel the wicket is a bit flat), in any format means your batting side of the things is not balanced. Ofcourse collapses can still happen but, someone with batting skills to bat in top 7 has more chance to see off a good spell than bowlers who can ball just a bit.

Abdulla, Imam, Azhar. Pak's top 3 are Pujara types. If that is ok with Pak fans then don't complain that run rate is atrocious and batting is lacking intent. Where are Pak's Pant and Jadeja?

Yeah, 250 for 3 down is a very strong position. Batting at a reasonable rate would have added 100 more runs and Aus wouldn't be in dominating position. Batting for time is ok at times, but not the entire series. You have to try to win as well. Entire focus sholdn't be on not losing the match. Negative mindset can cause these collapses.

Can give a slack to Imam as he plays the new ball, having said that he needs to work on his technique a lot.

He can be given some time with age on his side, Fawad alam no use and nowhere to stand with that technique..

I would like to see fawad with this technique against Start and Cummins at Gabba and Perth.. When is Pak touring Aus ?

Who is behind this negative mindset, it was cultivated by Misbah decades ago.. but now he is nowhere near the team , what is causing this team to play so defensively even when they are well set.

Or is it taking time to move away from that mindset once deep rooted ?? Certainly not Misbah asked Shafique to bat like the way he did, also Babar like the way he did post tea.

did u miss Abdullah Shafique, he is been playing at 35 SR.. He can play as such early in the inns to see off the new ball, but when set he should put away bad balls and score runs .... he can play shots but looked to be bogged down and plays his shots every 15 balls..

well two chances for a catch bounced just so near to them... They have been like this for years, wait for the spinners to come and look where leg gully and silly point stands...

Pakistan need a coach who can teach them basics of simple cricket..

The other problem no bowler to cause a collapse like Shoaib and Asif could do in the past Australia will get the lead they want at home we’ve been dominated in the future make better pitches.
 
Our bowlers conceded too many runs on this wicket. 391 runs on a wicket where the ball is keeping low is criminal
