Australia vs Pakistan | 2nd Test | Adelaide | Nov 29 - Dec 3, 2019 | Day 1 | Match Thread

Pakistan is probably the only country who doesn't take any advantage of its home conditions. Not talking about UAE. Only Pakistan.

And to be honest, I don't even know what is Pakistan's home advantage anyways? Our pitches are not overly conducive to spin, neither to fast bowlers and bounce neither too low nor too high.

Any decent team would beat this Pakistan team in Pakistan. In fact, I wouldn't be an iota surprised if SL actually wins the series in Pakistan. Karunarate alone is better than almost all of our batters combined, barring Babar.

Our record in Pakistan has been embarrassing since 1995.

Gotta wait for Yasir hundred till tomorrow. He has been very poor. Another fast bowler should have been included instead of him.

Pakistan's bowling has been toothless, no swing no pace nothing.

All seem to be just ambling in and going through the motions, same can be said about them in the field too.

They all just look lethargic as also it was said by Wasim Akram on the commentary too.

Seriously what do the pcb gain in sending teams to Australia.

It's just madness from them.

STOP TOURING AUSTRALIA

If Sameen and Ehsan were selected, 'selecting them was a blunder' thread would have already been started on PP.

There's no winning, because our bowling overall is trash. Certainly is for AUS conditions.

Probably would be. Still makes more sense than selecting Imran and Musa

poor Wasim Akram.. his stomach must be churning inside watching this kind of bowling.. Waqar seems to have no shame though.

I think, they'll start 30 minutes early tomorrow, to recover 8 overs - means, by Tea, AUS should get around 63 overs of batting. At 4.5, they should reach either side of 600 around twilight time - either all-out or declare.... then ~300 overs to get 20 wickets. WIN has won their Test against AFG - I guess, PAK will need to draw this game, if they want to keep 7th spot .... Just in case ICC decides to divide Test world into two tiers with top 7 in Division A...................

if that is happening BCCI will definitely push for that..

Waqar was never a man of honor. He was the one who grouping against Wasim to loose captaincy.

And I was expecting Pakistan to unleash pace fury with the pink ball under lights. And to make matters worse, it will turn into a minefield tomorrow at the turn of innings.

Unless Pakistan becomes an economic might, get some money and infrastructure into the system, Pakistan will languish between 7 and 8 in the rankings. Poor third world countries don't succeed especially in this modern tech age.

Your point regarding Pakistan’s economic woes is true. India’s rise as a giant of the game has coincided with its economic development post the 90s. Unless Pakistan can replicate that, our cricket will remain rubbish.

You guys know what needs to be done to fix Pakistan's economy. I suspect that even those who disagree with me publicly understand that to become a modern economy you have to let civilian governments function without Army interference and get the Army totally out of the domestic economy and out of foreign affairs. I have been accused of repeating myself, but I don't feel the need to change what I say if I believe it to be true.

Guys everybody wanted micky sacked and now this ..blame game begins..the truth that we are not good enough is the reality
