Misbah made many in that team. He carried Azhar, Asad, Yasir, Sarfraz. He brought in Zulfiqar, Abdul Rehman whenever it was needed. He used players like Junaid Khan and Ahmed Shahzad. He was always at the top of his game both as a player and as a captain. UAE was not home-home. But it was such a smooth sailing because he adapted, and built a team that thrashed many big teams in UAE.
 
It will be a miracle to save this test match. Team is full of parchis along with nepotism.

Kookaburra balls are mostly good where the pitches have extra bounce like in Australia or SA.

Regardless!!! This team doesn't have any potential and PCB really doesn't care about winning matches/trophies. They more worry about PSL to make money.

Mushfiqur is statistically the best Bangladeshi Test batter ever. He has the most career runs and best batting average.

More than 30 over Left today, Bangladesh should try to score 120 more runs total lead close to 200.

Then anything can happened. BD actually can win this test
 
This is the last recognized pair. If Pakistan can get a breakthrough, they should close things out quickly. Tail can hardly bat.

Don't expect BD to declare today.

I think BD should declare tomorrow one hour before lunch (if they don't get bowled out).
 
This bowling performance shows how mediocre Shan Masood is as a captain. He gave 35 overs to a part-time spinner in a Test match, which is beyond ridiculous. What was the management thinking? Did they believe the four pacers were as formidable as the West Indies fast bowlers of the past, making a specialist spinner unnecessary? Even on a green mamba pitch, you should still include a proper spinner in the playing XI.

Furthermore, Sajid Khan can bat and is the best spinner we have in the domestic circuit, yet they preferred the inexperienced Abrar Ahmed over him.

Mushfiq should've gotten a 200. Where else are you going to get if not on this road. But he was already showing signs of tiredness when he gave multiple chances in the last hour and so.

Mushfiq scored 3 double centuries before (one against SL and two against Zimbabwe).

I think BD should start slogging now. Take that lead to 120 (if possible).

Guys like him should be involved in a big role with the red ball team. All due respect to Gillespie but he does not understand the Pakistani team culture, country culture and the domestic circuit. It will probably take him years to get some grasp.

I am pretty sure he would run circles around most of the team for fitness even now at 50 years of age. He Is easily one of the fittest guys around.

Atleast wirh misbah home record will improve and be more dominant. Will compete away in England and nz for sure. Only struggle as always will.be in SA and Australia. Which not even the greatest Pakistan teams could conquer.
 
I don't get it, Why can pakistan get Mehidy out? Their treating him as if he's Dravid batting on the crease.

Bro the umpires should be given authority to call an entire test match off, no joke.

If a test is not capable of generating an ewual balance between bat and ball then No point in playing.

I don't blame Rizwan ..

Imagine scoring 171 and then keeping for 160 overs , these guys are human as much as I'm unhappy with the performance I can understand if Rizwan isn't 100% on top of his game with gloves right now, this is tough for even the fittest cricketer.
 
I knew that Shaheen was expecting his first child from a couple of months ago as when I met him we spoke and that's how I found out.

What I don't get or understand is that worldwide sportsmen who are mostly expecting their first born would be taking time away from their schedule to be there with their wife/partner in this time.

Why didn't he do the same is something that baffles me as he would've been told the due date and that so he should've voluntarily sat out this test.
 
A Bangladeshi draw is bad for West Indies also.

West Indies are currently at the bottom of WTC table. Draw gives BD valuable points and makes the gap wider (between Windies and BD).
 
Pakistan should just allow everyone to have a bowl now atleast that will create some record and keep the spirits up
