This is actually quite incredible. Often fans blame PCB or captaincy or things in general in Pakistan for the defeats, and all of that is true, but the biggest culprits are the ones on the ground. There is a serious skill set issue with these players and no one absolutely no one but then are responsible for it. These days there is so much science existing out there in the open, on how to stay fit or improve your power hitting or your fielding, yet Pakistani players don't seem interested in improving themselves at all. I have long been a Pakistan cricket supporter, but i now feel that the gap is widening so much, that I see little chance of things changing for the better.

And Shan parchi is not in a position to oppose him because he averages 28 and is clearly undeserving of a spot.

Gillespie was more focussed on doing Dramybaazi like having Arshad Nadem visit the dressing room. Problems with our cricket are much deeper
 
About time you remove the all format crap players

People playing T20i either stick to it or pick Test or T20i

Babar and Shaheen for a start need to choose what they want to focus on. They seem disinterested in Test, so just make money playing T20. Move on from Test

Rizwan should just play Test.

Where and when was his workload managed since?

He was going on and on about ushering a new era of playing an aggressive brand post 2024 wc and issuing an era of Pakistan dominance smh.

Hello Bhai. This is my first post here. So please go easy on me as I am a pretty old Bangladeshi. So my memory isn't quite what it used to be. However, just wanted to point out that back when Gillespie scored that double, that weak Bangladesh team had the mighty Australia on the ropes and if Gillespie hadn't pulled off that miracle, they may have lost that match, much like Inzi's innings in Multan. Just wanted to point out that back then the Bangladesh team had virtually no pace attack and had to depend solely on leftarm spinners. Just my two cents

Shaheen was rested from Sydney test where Pakistan plays once in 4-5 years and now, he is playing on road against Bang at Pindi. This is nothing but absolute farce.

Bangladeshi bowlers on day 5 have shown that this pitch is not unbowlable if you bowl with fire.

Pakistani bowlers are just soft.

Credit to Bangladeshis. With all that is going on at home they have played magnificently here. They deserve a win.

What about the damage been done by great Imran khan to dismantle departmental cricket and shifting to 6 teams format in domestic. It not only increased the unemployment among cricketers but also decreased competetion as most of the good cricketers left pakistan cricket and gone overseas/changed career. Its just the affects of that era. You see the domestic and you will not find a single good fast bowler, batsmen or even a spinner.
 
PCB needs to take decisive actions to save Pakistan cricket. They should take a cue from the West Indies, who revitalized their Test team by removing all the self-proclaimed heroes from the longer format. There’s no shame in losing while rebuilding a team. Every player in the current squad should be dropped until they prove their worth by working hard in domestic cricket.

Keep reading “Australian mindset” to play 4 pacers. I am trying to recall when I saw them play 4 pacers. They always a specialist spinner in the line up. Lyon and Warne have 1200+ test wickets between them lol it didn’t happen with 4 pacers.
 
I remember the great Australian side losing a Test after declaring in both innings. Adam Gilchrist declared for challenge. Pakistan can take heart from that. Some champion team has made that mistake before.
 
Was waiting to watch Naseer Shah smash a couple of sixes, single-handedly win the game for Pakistan, and then sprint around the field like a wild deer… but oh wait, never mind, he’s out!
