Bangladesh v India [Group B/Match 8] - Updates

B'ldesh bowler bowlin quite well. Indian batsman being given very little apart from extras.

Mashrafe is very impressive consistently clocking 140 plus and pitches every ball at the right length. Just the line is little awry. Other than that he is as good as any asian fast bowler.

Morning boys. Good start by Bangladesh? Or does the scoreboard not tell the whole story?

Very impressed with Mortaza and the BD fielding. They really look up for it.

Huge LBW appeal. I think Uthappa was lucky there.

nice timed short..

uthapa was lucky on prev ball.. i thought he was out but umpire thought otherwise

That should have been LBW

Very impressive start I would say....Indian batsmen are under some pressure...

ummn i hate to say this but...

BD got better ODI fast bowling then we do !!

Ganguly charging and instead hitting it into the ground....Next ball a bouncer and no-ball....

that's what I like to hear. Hope we get to see a good match.

caught at point. Outside edge. Mortaza again.

India NEED Ganguly to work through this tough period for him. He needs to provide backbone to the innings.

Ganguly really struggling here.

He cant put bat to ball.

6.4 Mashrafe Mortaza to Uthappa, OUT, Mortaza you beauty! Removes Uthappa now. Full in length and outside off stump, shapes away a touch and Uthappa is sucked into a fatal drive. He drives at it, bat away from the body, and the ball goes off the edge straight to Aftab Ahmed at point. Bangladesh fielders erupt in joy and why not. India two down and struggling.

pressure on India, David Lloyd is right behind Bangladesh!!

wonder if he is going to get a Indian visa for his next assignment!! :P

My stream got switched to Pakistan-Ireland, so I'll be watching that whilst doing my homework, but will be watching this thread closely......Hope it is a good game.....

Ganguly batting as though he wants to get out of there quick. Silly shots time and again.

HRG: This is the third occasion that India have lost thier first two wickets under 25 runs against Bangladesh. First occasion - 2 for 14 in Dhaka in 1998, 2 for 5 at Dhaka in 2004 and now here.

Ok so I got switched back to the Indian-Bangladesh match which is more exciting...But I agree Saj, he's getting more and more frustrated..

Ganguly is trying to break the shackles. He's tried it several times now. It's just not coming off.

The left armer Syed Rasul, is not quick, but has been really accurate and moved the ball both ways.

Impressive stuff from the opening BD bowlers.

Pakistani bowlers should take coaching lessons from seeing them how they have bowled....

I say that and he flicks the next ball off his pads for 4. Vintage Sachin.

now a 2 through the legside. Ganguly timing the ball a bit better now.

If they have sold 14,000 tickets, I wonder where they are...Looks pretty empty....
Take it from someone who goes to games - the ticket touts have bought them @ face-value.

Theyve then tried to offload them at a premium rate (inflated $$$$).

And Ind/BD fans have REFUSED to pay. SO as a result, thousands remain unsold on ebay/outside the grounds.

ICC/WICB are laughing - they get a sell out crowd, without having to deal with the hassel of a sell out crowd!

Well said !

Huge inside edge by Tendulkar, off his pad and the keeper takes it. He's gone for 7. It's 40/3

84 for 4 from 28 overs.

India in trouble too.

India 84-4, 29th over in progress. Ganguly survies a huge caught behind appeal.
Score of 220 is what they might be targetting now.

bangladesh playing very good.. both India and Pakistan crumbling to the minnows

B'desh rise would be an excellent news for cricketting world. Although too bad that they decided to do that against India.

Sourav Ganguly has done well to hung in the middle. Other Indian batsman need to learn a lesson or two from him ....
