Rahul Gandhi's 'below the belt' remarks made it personal for Himanta Biswa Sarma

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's yatra seems to be passing through the most hostile terrain it has seen. There's a reason why it has turned the way it has and why Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken it personally.

With the task of delivering ‘justice’ to the people of India, Rahul Gandhi, with his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra (BJNY) re-entered the state of Assam on Sunday (January 21). The Rahul yatra, which aims to cover 14 states in around two months, spent a day in Arunachal Pradesh before re-entering Assam.

The Congress leader was greeted by a raging storm, again.

HOW RAHUL MADE IT PERSONAL FOR HIMANTA
Rahul Gandhi and HImanta Biswa Sarma were engaged in a fiery war of words.

The Gandhi family scion attacked the BJP leader whenever he could. So much so, that, Rahul even alleged that Sarma’s entire family, including his children and wife, were involved in corruption.

"India's most corrupt Chief Minister is the Chief Minister of Assam. Every member of his family, be it children, his wife or himself, is involved in corruption," said Rahul Gandhi while addressing a gathering in Assam on January 18.

"The entire country and Assam know that your Chief Minister (Himanta Biswa Sarma) and his entire family are the most corrupt people," Rahul Gandhi reiterated on January 21.

Himanta is a political veteran and has withstood several charges, but the attack on his family, especially his children, by Rahul Gandhi infuriated him.

HIMANTA REFERS TO RAHUL AS RAVAN
Himanta gave it back to Rahul Gandhi. The Congress leader and his men faced the full force of the Assam government and BJP members.

That Rahul Gandhi had crossed the Laxman Rekha was made evident in Himanta's counterstrikes.

“Earlier, Rahul Gandhi used to be afraid of me, however, he has started to become afraid of my children as well,” Himanta said on Sunday (January 21), a day before the Pran Pratishtha at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Sarma even drew parallels between Rahul Gandhi and the demon king Ravan after a journalist asked him about the Congress leader.

“Why are you talking about Ravan (referring to Rahul Gandhi) today? At least talk about Ram today. We have the opportunity to talk about Ram after 500 years. We should only talk about him and not about Ravan,” said the Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on January 22.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra on Thursday entered West Bengal. Congress president Adhir Chowdhury welcomed the Congress MP in Bengal. The yatra entered West Bengal through Bakshirhat in Cooch Behar district

The Congress leader exuded confidence that the opposition INDIA bloc will fight against injustice across the country.

"We have attached the word 'Nyay' (justice) in the yatra as injustice is prevailing across the country. BJP and RSS are spreading hatred and violence. The INDIA bloc will fight against injustice across the country," he said.

The 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' has concluded in Assam, passing through Golakganj, Dhubri district.

Gandhi, accompanied by other senior leaders visited a tea stall, where he interacted with people, mostly from the economically backward section. “Rahul Gandhi's visit to my tea stall comes as a surprise. It is good to have him here," the tea stall owner said.

Bengal conundrum plaguing INDIA Bloc?

Gandhi came to Bengal a day after the state's Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee broke the ties with the INDIA bloc, an alliance of 28 opposition parties formed last year.

Rahul Gandhi to be arrested after Lok Sabha elections, says Assam CM

Banerjee said that her Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) will fight alone in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

“I had given them (Congress) a proposal (on seat sharing) but they refused it at the outset. Our party has now decided to go alone in Bengal," Banerjee said.

Rahul Gandhi needs to contest against Modi one on one in some constituency. Let's have fun this way otherwise indian politics has just become too bored. @CricketCartoons @JaDed your opinions?

Ok so any leader in the opposition that can actually beat modi in a one v one election
Modi will lose if he fights from Tamil Nadu or Kerala but overall only way to make an opposition or alliance is get UP.

The Ujjain Patel vs Ambedkar statue issue might play in the minds also Jats might not vote BJP if they have an influential leader of their caste from Congress..

'Congress insults Ambedkar': BJP as Rahul Gandhi's aide credits Nehru for Constitution

Congress leader Sam Pitroda, regarded as Rahul Gandhi's close aide, has stoked fresh controversy by claiming that it was not BR Ambedkar but Jawaharlal Nehru, who is the "Father of the Constitution" of India. The statement did not sit well with the BJP, who has alleged the grand old party of "discrediting Ambedkar and insulting" him.

Will reveal identity of Rahul Gandhi’s yatra ‘body double’ soon: Himanta Sarma

Assam Chief Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that he will soon share the name and address of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's "body double" allegedly used during the grand old party's 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' in the northeastern state.

"I don't just say things. The duplicate's name, and how it was done -- I will share all details. Just wait for a few days," Himanta Sarma said on Saturday on the sidelines of an event in Sonitpur district, news agency PTI reported.

'Will soon share name, address': Himanta Sarma doubles down on 'body double' claim against Rahul Gandhi

The Assam Chief Minister said that he would be on a two-day visit to Dibrugarh, and once he returns to Guwahati, he would "give the name and address of the duplicate".

Himanta Sarma recently made the claim of Rahul Gandhi using a "body double" during Congress's rally in Assam. The BJP leader quoted a news portal questioning if the Congress MP was using his lookalike during the rally from Manipur to Maharashtra.

"Rahul Gandhi has been using a 'body double' on his bus journeys. This means that the person sitting at the front of the bus and looking at people probably is not Rahul Gandhi at all," Himanta Sarma had alleged on Thursday (January 25) at a press conference.

The Assam Chief Minister questioned if the use of the "body double by Rahul Gandhi was part of a larger conspiracy".

Himanta Sarma also claimd that the bus used by Congress for the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' has multiple rooms, and Rahul Gandhi was often seated inside with a few people as the world waved at a "Rahul Gandhi lookalike".

The 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' met with police action in Assam after a clash erupted between Congress workers and state police, following the denial of permission for the rally to enter Assam's capital, Guwahati, via its main routes. The confrontation occurred after the Assam government under Himanta Sarma, directed the yatra to steer clear of the city and use the Guwahati bypass instead. Police stopped the yatra from entering the city, triggering protests from Congress workers.

An FIR was registered against Rahul Gandhi in the matter, and the same has now been transferred to the Assam CID.

Opinion: Coincidence or cosmic chaos? Political crisis follows Rahul Gandhi’s Nyay Yatra

Unlike the first phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the current mood in Congress is one of despondency and demoralisation. Rahul Gandhi, representing the political leadership of the party, reportedly disregarded in-house astrologers who predicted doom for the second phase of the cross-country march -- the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra -- which began on January 14 from Imphal. The astrologers are now once again requesting the Congress scion to review his plans, considering that the yatra has hit headlines mostly for the wrong reasons so far.

The day the second phase began, Rahul Gandhi’s close friend Milind Deora left the grand old party to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. In Assam, Gandhi faced numerous challenges, hardships, opposition, and jibes from Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma (a man Rahul Gandhi almost made the state’s Chief Minister in 2013). Sarma exhibited utter contempt and a degree of vengeance, indicating once again that former Congress leaders are Rahul Gandhi’s bigger foes than Yogi Adityanath, Devendra Fadnavis, or any dyed-in-the-wool BJP leader.

By the time a beleaguered Rahul Gandhi and his band of yatris reached West Bengal, another former Congress leader and ally, Mamata Banerjee, dropped a bombshell, ruling out alliance or seat adjustment with the grand old party in her state. He had more trouble in store when the West Bengal Chief Minister refused to meet or greet him.

It is pertinent to point out here that Rahul Gandhi during a January 13 INDIA bloc meeting vetoed a proposal to name Nitish Kumar as alliance convener. This intervention in the presence of Sonia Gandhi, All India Congress Committee Chief Mallikarjun Kharge and other INDIA constituents upset the Bihar chief minister so much that he snapped the Zoom link abruptly, refusing to re-join. Rahul Gandhi said that he would consult with Mamata Banerjee, who was not present at the meeting. For inexplicit reasons, the next 13 days saw no communication between him and the Trinamool Congress Chief, giving Nitish Kumar enough time and reasons to ditch the INDIA bloc and team up with the National Democratic Alliance.

But Rahul Gandhi’s disastrous run did not yet end. In Jharkhand, he and his yatra have the unenviable task of backing and supporting Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who is firmly in the grip of the Enforcement Directorate. What is worse for him is that a sordid power play is in the offing where Gandhi may have to support and justify a Rabri Devi-like drama and transfer of power in Ranchi. Such a blatant run of ‘parivarwaad’ is against the grain of Gandhi’s thinking. But political exigencies and anti-BJPism are likely to force him to take an un-Rahul-like stand.

Gandhi’s absence from Delhi, Congress political management, and the 2024 Lok Sabha preparations are wreaking havoc within and outside the Congress. It has been days since the Samajwadi Party offered 11 Lok Sabha seats to the Congress, but the grand old party has neither welcomed nor accepted the offer. Akhilesh Yadav, meanwhile, is going ahead and announcing party nominees from various constituencies. This may lead to a situation of confrontation and bitterness. Ditto for the party alliance, seat adjustment with the Aam Aadmi Party when time is running out.

It is not that the Congress or its managers are sitting idle. But the process of decision-making within the party has become so tardy and time-consuming that it reeks of every bit of unprofessionalism, recklessness, and a lack of accountability. The constant presence of the AICC general secretary in-charge of the organisation, KC Venugopal, with Rahul Gandhi at the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is both baffling and intriguing. In the AICC’s Department of Communication, the three top persons are reportedly not on talking terms with each other.

As the country is gearing up for its 18th Lok Sabha elections (scheduled for May 2024), the principal Opposition is in a complete mess and disarray. There is no sense of urgency or course correction either. Party leaders, in private, say in whispers, “2024 to gayo...” — 2024 is gone.

Arguably, rallies like these have historically helped several leaders establish connections with the masses. Chandra Shekhar, a socialist leader who became prime minister in the early 1990s, embarked on a nationwide yatra in 1983. In 'Chandra Shekhar: The Last Icon of Ideological Politics', authors Harivansh and Ravi Dutt Bajpai explained that the motivation behind a foot march is mass mobilisation. “The key suggestion,” they wrote, “was that among all the Opposition leaders, it was only Chandra Shekhar who could undertake the challenges of undertaking a padayatra to win back the confidence of the common people.â€æ..[Among all the Indian politicians, Indira Gandhi [then prime minister] commanded a pan-Indian presence, and the padayatra would help Chandra Shekhar gain nationwide acceptability to counter Mrs Gandhi.”

However, in reality, the truth was that Chandra Shekhar in 1984 lost his election. The combined opposition had little or no presence in the Lok Sabha, which gave Rajiv Gandhi 415 MPs.

In 2014, the Congress party won 19.3 per cent of votes, a figure which rose marginally to 19.5 per cent in 2019. The BJP’s vote share over the same period increased from 31 to 38 per cent. The 2024 outcome and vote percentage will indicate where Rahul will stand post his two yatras. Only an increase in Congress' vote share by five per cent can have some quality difference, but at present, it looks like a pipedream.

This Sarma creature is an A-grade corrupt clown.

Rahul Gandhi should abandon his yatra

As India gets ready to go into election mode the question on most people's minds is not if Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be re-elected but with how many seats?

If electoral politics is all about public perception, then it is clear that Modi has already won the battle.

But was the Opposition's INDIA bloc ever in the game?

Political observer and author Rasheed Kidwai is among those who believe it was, and that it can still give the BJP a run for its money.

In the first two parts of his interview to Syed Firdaus Ashraf/Rediff.com, Kidwai spoke about what ails Opposition politics and how Congress leader Rahul Gandhi may have got it wrong.

Who are the people advising Rahul Gandhi and taking the Congress in a leftist direction?

This is an important question, as right from Pandit Nehru to Sonia Gandhi or even P V Narasimha Rao they were able to use the Left parties to the advantage of the Congress party. They used Left parties to further the Congress's political agenda.

What has happened now is the exact reversal. It is the Left which is rootless politically, but able to influence Rahul Gandhi, thereby raising their concerns.

In Indira Gandhi's time, she was able to use the Communist Party of India to her advantage when she was politically weak in 1969.

Even Dr Manmohan Singh used the Left to his advantage between 2004-2008, but when they put their foot down on the India-US nuclear deal he ousted them and got his way.

People say Dr Singh was a weak politicianm but I would say he was very smart and politically savvy. Rahul Gandhi should have joined his council of ministers to learn.

Do you think Rahul Gandhi's biggest mistake was not to learn anything from Dr Singh in politics as he did not even become a minister in his government?

Not joining Dr Singh's government as a minister has hurt and harmed Rahul Gandhi more. It was a golden period for the Congress and he could have learnt how the government functions.

I would say middle class voters like people who are achievers.

If you look at Rahul Gandhi you will see what is he.

His CV is not so much about MPhil in development economics or some other degrees or skills which he has gained.

His CV is looked at by the Indian middle class as Rahul Gandhi is Indira Gandhi's grandson or Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi's son. This comes to the public mind when they think of Rahul Gandhi's CV.

Congress is losing the plot here, BJP would be too happy with that.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is perfectly okay with people like Himanta Biswa Sarma and Milind Deora leaving the grand old party as their politics is very different.

"I want people like Himanta and Milind to leave. I am perfectly okay with it. Himanta represents a particular type of politics that is not Congress' politics. Have you seen some of the statements Himanta makes about Muslims? There are certain values that I would like to defend," Rahul Gandhi said.

The Congress leader was interacting with 'digital media warriors' in West Bengal during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, the video of which was uploaded to his account on Friday.

Tensions escalated between Rahul Gandhi and Himanta Biswa Sarma during Rahul's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam. Himanta accused Rahul of instigating unrest on January 22, and following this, Rahul Gandhi labeled Assam CM as the 'most corrupt CM' in India.

In the same conversation, Rahul Gandhi mentioned Milind Deora, a former Congress leader from Maharashtra, who left the party to join the Shiv Sena faction led by Eknath Shinde after disagreements over seat-sharing in Maharashtra. The disagreement involved the Congress, Uddhav's Shiv Sena, and Sharad Pawar's NCP, set to contest elections together. Milind Deora's desired Mumbai South seat went to Uddhav Sena due to a sitting MP.

The statement holds significance as it comes at a time when the Maharashtra Congress may get another setback with the speculated exit of Baba Siddique.

People Will Suffer Under Modi Govt If Rahul Gandhi's Struggle To Save Democracy Fails: Kharge

NEW DELHI: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday said Rahul Gandhi has taken out the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra under adverse conditions to save the country's democracy and Constitution and if his struggle fails, the people of the country will be enslaved and will suffer under the Narendra Modi government.

Addressing a party workers' convention organised by the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee here, Kharge warned that if Prime Minister Modi is not defeated in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, he will enslave everyone permanently.

He also highlighted how opposition leaders were threatened, intimidated and made to fall in line and join or align with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Kharge thanked Gandhi on behalf of the Congress and said his decision to take out the yatra is perhaps the biggest step taken by any party leader so far.

He said Gandhi is seeking justice for everyone, including youngsters, women, farmers and the poor. Despite such adverse situations and cold conditions, he is leading the yatra in the fight against the atrocities of the BJP-led Centre, the Congress chief said at the "Nyay Sankalp Sammelan" rally in east Delhi.
"This fight is to save democracy and the Constitution. If you fail to support the Congress in this fight, you will become a slave of Modi," he said.

Kharge called upon the leaders and workers of the Delhi Congress to focus on booth-level activities and appoint party workers who are aggressive and diligent to ensure that there are no irregularities during polls.

"When you appoint booth agents, you should think and test them. There is a saying that when someone buys a dog or an animal, he pulls the chain. If the animal barks, it is okay, but if it does not, he does not buy it.
"While selecting the booth agents, you should also ensure that those loyal to you and those who fight for you are appointed. You should appoint such a person who is available all the time. Otherwise they will cast their votes with the help of the officials appointed by them. It is important to focus on this," he said.

His remarks drew criticism from the BJP, which accused the Congress chief of comparing the party workers with dogs, saying it was "shameful". Kharge charged Modi with not fulfilling his promises of providing jobs to youngsters and recovering black money generated in the country.

"What is Modi's guarantee? His guarantee is not fulfilling promises," he said. Kharge accused the prime minister of trying to "impose his views on the country and punishing everyone for gaining power".

"Modi is moving towards dictatorship. People from all over the country come to Delhi and if we win Delhi, we will win the entire country. He plays the emotion card, he also plays the religion card," he said, urging the Congress workers to reach out to every household and raise awareness against the BJP's "divisive" agenda.
"Modiji wants to enslave the people of the country once again, due to which Dalits, backwards and tribals will suffer. While we fight for the poor, those sitting in power are only doing the work of dividing people," the Congress president said.

He said the Congress's victory should begin from Delhi and only then will democracy and the Constitution survive. Accusing the BJP of dividing people to rule, Kharge said youngsters would have to remain vigilant as it is the question of the country.

"Their only contribution is to divide people. When they do not get anything, they will do Hindu-Muslim, otherwise accuse the Congress of being anti-god. All of us do puja at home. While we do it for our peace, they do it for votes. They do it for only showing it to others...," he said.

Condemning the Modi government for "misusing" probe agencies like the ED, CBI and income-tax department, the Congress chief claimed that in the last 10 years, 411 MPs, MLAs and senior leaders from opposition parties were intimidated, harassed or made to join or align with the BJP.

He said in Jharkhand, the BJP tried to break off the opposition MLAs but the tribal legislators of the Congress and the JMM remained resolute to resist such a move and the alliance's government was formed again.
Kharge also lashed out at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for quitting the Mahagathbandhan alliance. "He used to talk a lot about socialism, but turned out to be Palturam," he said.

Mallikurjan Kharge, P. Chidambaram, Sachin Pilot(in near future) are to name a few that could step up in his absence. But according to the survey below ppl in your country want him to be the next PM from opposition.

Rahul Gandhi doesn't want to be Prime Minister I suppose.

The Gandhis at this point just want to ensure they have a certain status that allows them to live out their remaining years in peace. 1-2 state election wins every few years is good enough for them to retain said status.

Lok Sabha is out of the question. Even stuff like the Bharat Jodo Yatra is just for Rahul's image, not for Congress's electoral success.

In other words - the BJP wins by a landslide as there is no opposition.

Quite the opposite. The Antonio Maino clan is very ambitious and doesnt mind cannibalising like minded parties so that it can get power. If they were content at 1-2 states, they would have done everything to empower the INDI Alliance.

The longer they stay out of power, the more desperate and extreme they will become. RaGa is not just a clown. he is a dangerous clown, who gets his advice from commie intellectuals. That is why he is so anti business, and pro dole. He will drag the economy down. India needs a centrist, truly secular and nationalist party to counter BJP, but Raga's congress is not that party.

Agree with everything except for the "Truly Secular" bit .... no matter how hard we try there can be no such thing with a Pakistan sized community within India. Just not worth the hassle nor is it practical.

Once there is no political patronage, people will fall in line. Example is UP.

Untill the demographic numbers are in favor of secularism .... once that no longer holds true you are pretty much a 2nd class citizen

So what do you propose as a solution to maintain secularism ?

Forget secularism ... there are few things that supercede Secularism ... I suggest you go talk to a Kashmiri Pandit that had the misfortune of having to leave everything overnight and flee to save his/her life and dignity. I have a first hand experience of such a discussion and real life experiences to back that up. And based on your posts I'am pretty sure that you have no idea about the gravity or even the awareness of such situations.

My response was to convey to you that there are few things in real life (like basic human rights) that are faar more important than secularism. So therefore its a moot point to prioritize and discuss secularism and to pretend that secularism is the silver bullet to India's communal nonsense. Anyone who thinks otherwise deserves nothing but scorn.

If you still do not understand ... do this thought exercise: Ask why there are ZERO complaints from the Parsi community in India on both topics ( Secularism and Human rights) despite them having no political representation. Bonus points if you understand why/how they have survived in India for 1000+ years when the birthplace of their civilization no longer exists.

. So therefore its a moot point to prioritize and discuss secularism and to pretend that secularism is the silver bullet to India's communal nonsense. Anyone who thinks otherwise deserves nothing but scorn.

I'll ask this without mentioning 'secularism'. What is your solution to India's communal problem ?

@RexRex I saw your post ... there are no realistic solutions to this problem. Unless Partition 2.0 is to be considered as a realistic solution. While I can write long paragraphs on the reasons why that is the case ... it will never resonate unless and until you experience the realities first hand. Or atleast go through the thought exercise I mentioned in my earlier post and seek out genuine KP who had to flee their home land.

Here is another thought exercise: Why do you think there are no communal riots in PK and BD ?

It seems Modi and BJP are not much different from the corrupt Pak politicians, derailing and not allowing a fair opposition.

The only difference is in Pakistan, its called out but in India they are happy with extremists and corruption in power.

Good try but if that was the case BJP would had conquered South by now and there aren’t power in any Southern state, not even in Bengal.

Also Indian economy , reserve makes Indian politician since 1991 better than any Pakistani politician.

BJP/RSS doesnt need the South to stay in as the national government, the real power.

Indian economy over hyped. If India had 200 million then sure but when you have nearly 2 billion people in a huge land, with 500 million in poverty, its nothing to brag about.

Indian economy is overhyped not coz of population but coz of its improvement, Pakistan has huge population as well does it work that way for them?

India is a federal structure, the upper house is dependent upon state’s power, you would know if you knew how our government worked.

none of my concern but its clear in the video that people raised there hand when rahul gandhi said raise hand. He mention the other part of gst in the following sentence.

People raised there hand before he could complete his sentence, which is why he said put it down.

Like come on, its right infront of you, why trying to pretend?

Seems like Italianos trying their best to get back to ruling India.

Damn, so sad it will.never happen again....

now you are carrying the water for for RaGa or you think the yatris were dumb enough to raise their hand when RaGa asked them to. Which one is it.

They specfically raise their hand after he talked about GST and asking raise your hand of GST helped you.

Irrespective of whether you think raga 2 (rajiv was the original pappu) is a clown or not, what do you think of his central message? First he says the rich don't pay GST, only the poor + minorities pay. Next he says adani pays the same GST on a shirt which a poor person has to pay. He cannot even formulate the problem, let alone give a solution. But since you are his fan, can you explain what is the problem he is unable to express, and what is its solution?

No chance as India has discarded dynastic politics long ago. Despite their repugnant and downright fascist ideology, the Hindu nationalist tend to run a meritocratic system where the ‘best’ raise to the top. The congress party, like the PML & PPP, is a family business where power is based down from father to daughter to grandson.

I challenge you to prove that the Hindu nationalist parties are fascists. Otherwise an apology will be in order.

I didn't say I was a fan of RG but I've come to realise he's the lesser evil of the two.

This I agree with,

He will turn into a man in another 50 years I feel, he will mature enough then to be the Indian PM and Italians can once again rule the Indians..

This I agree with, our Puppu is still in his diapers and have the brain of a 5 year old currently..

Funnily enough, not many on here know what you object to about Rahul except that he wears diapers. I find your obsession with his undergarments a bit creepy btw..

The fact that some Indians actually see him with a brain of a 5 year old is fit to lead a nation of nearly 2 billion is much more a scary thought...

The thing is the man does not have the common sense to not ask such a leading question ( any one here benefitted from GST in a rhetorical tone) to a large gathering before explaining his position as the response could go against him( which it did) , never mind have the ability to think on his feet and pivot to something else after the unfavorable response ... instead 5 seconds later he is forcibly asking people to put their hands down like a school headmaster and continues to doubles down on his rant against GST as though the hands never went up 5 seconds ago and continues to pretend that it doesn't help anyone .. There is a reason why he is popularly known as a Pappu as such gaffes are dime a dozen and therefore BJP's best election campaigner.

The only saving grace is people did not chant Modi Modi at the end... which has happened in the past lol

Anyone who is in public life can make gaffes, and this is hardly a gaffe by his standards. The issue is the combo of low IQ and full certainty. If not for his commies inspired economic ideas, I would still tolerate him. He will ruin the economy with his borrowed ideas.

🤣 yup like I said ... it fell short of his own high standards as crowds are not yet chanting Modi Modi... in his rallies

The issue is the combo of low IQ and full certainty and zero awareness of ground realities surrounded by a perfect echo chamber . If not for his commies inspired economic ideas, I would still tolerate him. He will ruin the economy with his borrowed ideas.

fixed ... and they have a lot of experience in ruining economy and a few other things.

Do you love Modi more than you hate Rahul, or do you hate Rahul more than you love Modi?

Why is Rahul Gandhi not in parliament? It is very easy to criticize Modi but what is the effort opposition is putting in beating him? This clown prince has left his party hanging and went for Nyay Yatra. What is the purpose of this yatra so close to the election? This yatra and all other topi drama should have been completed at least 6 months ago. Now is the time for campaigning, seat sharing with alliance partners, giving tickets to party members etc etc. Instead of doing all these, our Pappu ji is doing some random yatra and his own party members has no clue about it

The BJN yatra's timing is fine, but it should have been done with the INDI alliance, not a solo one. Every time they make an alliance, only for congress to break it with their unilateral actions.

What makes you think Pappu wants to beat Modi? He has possibly given up already. Even if the Congress is brain dead, I doubt the other members of INDIA are that stupid. They all know what the outcome of the elections is going to be.
All the yatras and m*tras are there only to improve RaGa's social media image or to get some fresh country air by going out of Delhi.

That is why all his alliance partners like Mamata Banerjee, Kejrwal, Akhilesh Yadav etc refused to give congress any seats on their territory and rightly so. Why would they sacrifice their own party for this clown?

Modi spoke for 2 hours each in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha this week during Budget session. Rahul Gandhi, the primary opposition leader should be in the house countering him and the budget presented by Finance minister. That is the job of opposition na? Instead he is doing some random yatra somewhere in the country and his supporters want him to become the next PM whenever he is back. Wah, kya privilege hai :ROFLMAO:

But but the wheel is turning, wheel is turning.

Spare a moment of silence for our boi pillionrider

lol...

Read post#284 by @Major, he explains it. Any sensible person can understand the video except you three devotees of Modi lol.
See my response to him.

All that means yatris were just robots who couldn't understand the speech or RaGa flubbed it.

Congress has had decades and they have gotten worse. for me the last straw was that religious minorites have first right ot resources.

Why? which fairy tale you beilieve should have no influence on govt obligations to you.

This is IT cell's KRA to spread lies like this. And gullible bhakts (and we have a surfeit of them here) just fall for it every single time.

Congress says that reservations should be based on caste population, but it also says that those states which give more tax should get proportionate share, and doesnt support delimitation. At one place it wants distribution by population, and in another place it doesn't want distribution by population. Do pappu pidis have any answer?

you need a different schtick. do you ever have any points or counter points?

RaGa & congress clowns are finished
Much better point than to attack someone who is dead for 6 decades now.
