unfortunately you are right, i only have bbc link.

Current partnership 85 runs, 21.3 overs, rr: 3.95 (Inzamam-ul-Haq 38, Mohammad Yousuf 38)

That first delivery from Hoggard was a good example of a delivery where the speed gun didn't tell the whole story. Only 75mph through the air but with enough about it off the pitch to keep the batsman honest, better than an 85mph that's just put on a length.

why the fascination about Inzi and pulling the short ball ??? Once he's settled, he doesn't pull the ball but rather dismissively swat the ball away

I'd take Hoggard's 75 mph'ers over Sami's 87 Mph'ers any day of the year.

I dont know why they replaced Plunket, he appeard to be bowling better in the last few overs

I think you are unintentionally confusing 2 issues:

I completely agree that if you are accurate enough and can move the ball, you don't need to bowl at a much higher speed to succeed in international cricket.

However that same delivery, if bowled at 85mph, would have been more difficult to play.

i hope YK will be back for the next game, especially since the news is not so encouraging on Asif and Malik is out of the whole series

These two are rattling along well MashaAllah, good pace and easy singles.

I was dissappointed with sami this morning at the start of third day's play, he should have utilised the good batting conditions and contributed atleast 20 runs over long period to frustrate the england bowling. Anyways brothers keeping making dua and avoid over praising.

Exactly, the thing i am most pleased about is the healthy run-rate. We can sometimes enter into a self-crippling shell when our backs are to the wall.

Hi guys,
Just started watching. Paid for in Toronto CBN network Loving this high class batting at lords. I dont know if it is my 52 inch screen.
There is alot of cricket left in this series let alone this match.

I dont understand Botham when he says break this partnership and Pak tail star and fold.
Did he not see Afridi in Britoval last week?

Dont they remember MOhali?

Yaar People say Botham was a legendary allrounder like Flintof but over the last few years since I have been folloing cricket he just talk rubbish. Don't beleiv him.

I hope they don't play musical chairs with the batting line-up and stick with using Afridi at 6. They have a habit of putting him up and done the order

Current partnership 92 runs, 25.1 overs, rr: 3.65 (Inzamam-ul-Haq 41, Mohammad Yousuf 42)

Nasser Hussein heard me, says plenty of batting to come. Do they follow pak passion?
Big appeal and a huge scare.

Well yes.. but I said an 85mph delivery "that's just put on a length". Not the same delivery at 85mph.

Big shout, but the ball pitched outside leg.

Without a doubt, Botham was a fantastic player with a great test record - but the facts will also tell you that he was absolutely hopeless as a captain. He lacked any tactical awareness or managerial skills and this manifests itself in his commentary.

This is ok for both teams at the moment, the question is obviously as to which team will get impatient first. Oh and whether England can maintain their discipline.

it's encouraging to see that England have already been pushed to the position of using Monty over the wicket - reducing their chances of getting an LBW decision unless he bowls an absolute jaffer

At Lunch, Pakistan are 165-4.

Really good session for us.

Excellent Partnership between Inzi and Yousuf

Lets hope it continues on

Yousuf and Inzi are by far the best batsman on display in this series.....better than anyone else in both sides. They are proving it. Fantastic performance by them.

But the job is nowhere near done yet. We just have to keep fighting. If we win the next session we should be in a position to bat well into day 4 which will be enough to draw the game. Yousuf needs a big hundred now. Come on boys!

Just ignore the racist botham.

Great session for Pakistan, Inzi 44 Yousuf 66. They still have a lot of work to do, but this is a good start MashAllah. I expected this...great batting at a great rate. Clearly Pak's session as the wcket doesn't mater.

Btw, how much DID Sami make?

Lol! Though he actually did some dirty work...but whatever. Taht was a good delivery.

It seems that both of us were right yesterday - the game is NOT over.

Game can never be over until 2 giants are there.......need ATLEAST 100 more run patnership from this pair

this session means nothing if inzi and yousuf dont go on to make a bid score. A very good point is that we need inzi and yousuf to be careful after lunch.

With England bowling looking far worse than it was in winter we should look to bat as long as possible. Inzi and MoYo have batted exceptionally well till now. Now if we can reach 250 without losing a wicket from here on, it would set up a good platform for Razzaq, Afridi and Akmal to continue the good work. The whole game depends upon MoYo-Inzi partnership

England will try to bring Inzi and Mo forward by changing length and bowl off stump to make them double minded.

Ed Joyce moves onto a double ton in his comeback match for Middlesex... I wonder when we'll see him in an England test team.

He does seem to score runs for fun when playing for Middlesex, who would he replace though? Straussy?

Excellent partnership by yousuf and inzamam, both are showing their class and quality which is evident by everyone. Clearly the best batsmen of either sides. MASHALLAH they have done well so far.

Hussain and Lloyd talking about Imran's knack of finding super talents, Inzi, Waqar, Wasim etc.

50 for Inzi, 8 in a row against Eng
