When: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals, Match 19, IPL 2020, 18:00 Local, 19:30 IST

Where: Dubai International Stadium

What to expect: Little respite from the Dubai weather for teams already facing a rapid turnaround with the hottest day of the week forecast for Monday. Interestingly, there is a small 10% chance of light rain around match start time but one that's unlikely to affect the game.

The talented Devdutt Padikkal hasn't been tested against an off-spinner at the start of his innings yet and Tamil Nadu twice knocked him over with that ploy in the Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare Trophy finals. Watch out for a possible introduction of R. Ashwin in the PowerPlay and if Finch consequently dons the aggressor hat.

Devdutt against Rabada and Nortje would be fun.
Can see Isuru Udana's IPL season ending tonite. He is just an overhyped Unadkat

I feel like RCB will massacre them today. If they pick the team I think they will RCB will win.

aB
Morris
Finch
Steyn

Should get picked

Saini
Umesh

Kohli
Devdutt
Washington
Parthiv
Dube

Pritvi Shaw is years ahead of Gill at the moment. Class player

Sundar's birthday today. His batting stats are quite impressive- can be a long term replacement of Ashwin. On turners, he’ll be difficult to pick, if accuracy is there.

Not a test spinner Sunder. Not yet anyway. Very high ceiling on batting though. Almost Any other team would have him opening by now. But rcb kaptaan is a *******.

DC are the most impressive team in the IPL.Kind of team you want to play for

They are kinda of team you fall for. Explosive batters. Real pace. Spinners who take wickets. And full of youngsta beauts. I'm not cheating on MI though. :afridi

KKR Youngsta beauties are still immature at this level. The Delhi ones look like they want to take all the responsibility.

Gill is ready for ODI just not T20.. not atleast for a WC in India..

Mavi and Nagerkotti are not yet.

Mavi and nagarkoti aren't even close. Not even in conversation. Porel is closer than those two to team India.

KKR youngsta beauties Gill and Rana are good. They have given starts even though Narine has been a walking wicket. Problem is their old experienced Kaptaan sahab. Morgan should be given captaincy.

Gill is good for most international sides such as Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Bangladesh but I cannot see him replace anyone in the current Indian side even in ODI cricket. India have a solid top 3 and the guys vying for a middle order spot look better than Gill at the moment.

But Pritvi Shaw is starting to look like a better option than Shikhar Dhawan for sure

:))) I know our kaptaan is the biggest choker.. but Rohit and Dhawan try their best to come to the party atleast ..

How many knockout matches are we gonna lose in first 10 overseas of batting? I love hitman but even he has choked.

Gill at #4 as a competition to Iyer/Rahul who have a tendency to get complacent...

Complacency is the new issue for our batsmen from Iyer, Sanju, Rahul .. they need to be kept on their toes if not Robin Uthappa situation will emerge again.

You sneaked in sanju's name in that list nicely. :rahi

Lol this is why RCB can never win the final
comical performance this.

With de Villiers keeping, RCB have got a lot of options now. Poor Dube does not have to bowl now. If he doesn't perform with bat, drop him for Gurkeerat Maan.

RCB should win this today or they won’t make play offs. That batting line-up is better than most international T20 sides including India - Padikkal, Finch, VK, AdV, Moeen, Dube, Sundar......

Now finch gone.. though I'd have liked if Ashwin mankaded him earlier 😜

:kohli batting too slow here , required rate increasing , he needs to find couple of big overs to keep required rate under control.

Very boring partnership this

I might as well watch some paint dry

Most harmful inning of this IPL. Lost his team a match and lots of NRR. Kaptaan please get good, its getting embarrassing. :rahi

Kohli cannot strike at over 150 S/R at will. He is good for 100 S/R and hence he is a gun ODI player.

Your expectation has to be managed going forward, as I told you in other thread - he'll be 32, come 05 NOV, may be 1-2 years hidden in it as well and the guy is married now - you'll never see the Kohli of 2018 T20 WC against Aussies. Still, a world class batsman till he retires, but peak Kohli almost certainly could have matched peak SRT, if not better in ODI/T20.

In 2023 WC at home - IND is heading towards the same situation of 2019 - officially Kohli 34, Sharma 36, Dhawan 37, Shami 31 :), Jadeja 34 ...... - they can't be dropped (unless retires voluntarily), can't be expected to deliver like in their 20s.
