So big day for both batsmen - can they add more runs and take Pakistan past the magical 300+ number?

Need a good 1st session with the bat before the new ball, just dont let england get a sniff here.

England bowled pretty poorly after lunch yesterday

What's with the 11AM start? Don't understand why we can't start earlier

Babar getting squared up a bit first over, similar to the start of his innings yesterday. Needs to get back into the zone.

Big wicket for England poor shot from Babar thats where he needs to leave his One day game behind.

Extremely poor shot by Babar that too just on the 6th ball of the day. Throws away the start he got yesterday as he looked good for a 100+.

Collapse coming up :) Pak will annoy the rain looking back

In the morning session in these conditions I can't think of two bowlers as an opening pair superior then Anderson and Broad with the dukes ball!

England were too short yesterday.

It will be tempting to drive - like Babar - but it’s a trap.

I feel for babar azam...
He has such a huge pressure on him because of some unrealistic expectations from every for him to perform.Any way good contribution,Others to to step up and show that it's not a about babar azam alone and that they are here going to take care if he doesn't perform.
Not the best position to be in for him with people always expecting him to perform.

It’s a Dukes ball, but it’s 50 overs old.

Just play sensibly because it won’t dart around.

The second new ball is 30 overs away and so it will be ready straight after lunch. Pakistan just need to be sensible now.

This is what i feared a but. I felt his strike rate was a little high for test innings he must be playing a lot of shots. And there you go falling for the bait in the very first over.

Poor shot by Babar. Don't hit on the up against a moving ball. Put the drive away unless it's right under your eyes

I hope Babar learns from his mistake but there is too much pressure on him.I hope he stays away from all kinds of media

Traditionally, our batsmen always find a way to get out early in the morning after remaining not out on the previous day.

Have seen the likes of Misbah, Inzamam and Yousuf done that time and time again.

Pretty much it is throwing all the hardwork of the day before straight away.

They are up against arguably the greatest opening pair of all time and especially in these conditions with the dukes ball, I think they were solid yesterday but great players don't afford you too many chances and Pakistan's time has become, like the many teams before them they will fall to the legendary Anderson and Broad

maybe impatient nature of pakistanis has to do with it lol

Babar you muppet. No need to be driving in the first over.

Some folks were celebrating if PAK were 339-2 not 139-2 at stumps yesterday. There's much work needed to get to 300.

England bowlers and fielders well focussed today. England may also get the best howling condition in the match, unless pitch deteriots enough for Pak bowlers in the second inning when they bowl.

Babar did not give himself time to adjust, went for shots too early, this happens when you are not careful at start of day. No matter how good you were last day, you have to be careful at start, soft dismissal at the end 🙄🙄

Need to get through this broad and anderson spell here.

Masood will be put out of his misery soon. Let’s see if Shafiq can carry him in this partnership.

Babar should have given himself some balls like he did yesterday at the start. Shot was on but because it was the first over of the fay and his footwork and flow wasnt as good as it could have been after facing 15-20 balls, he couldnt play it how he wanted to.

Again people he is just 25, yes he is too good to make such mistakes but, it happens and hopefully he will learn from it like he has done previously.
