144kph... Aaron beating the bat almost every delivery.
it's a fast pitch. Bowlers like Aarun can be really deadly on it. Of course right now he is a bit tentative but you can clearly see he is troubling the batsmen. He and BK can form a good pair.

Why wasn't Aaron ever played before? Shocking decision by a country with no pace reserves

16 over's gone and nothing happening presently. Aaron mixing his lines.

Kumar continues...

154 is more than competitive on this pitch. A England collapse is inevitable here, the Englishmen will choke chasing any target above 100 in the fourth innings. This is our game. #BleedBlue

Aaron should go wide of the crease coming over the wicket or go around the wicket as his natural angle is going into right handed batsmen.

So is Cook back in form then? If he can't score runs against us might as well retire...

@ mithun...where the double ton mate??

Bell pulls a long hop for 4. Bowling change time, Kumar off?

Aaron is arrow straight. Don't think that fuller length will work for him. Bowling too wide as well.

Aaron's turn this time, last ball of the over, gets punched for 4 wide of mid on. Ballance's first run in 21 deliveries.

Aaron shouldn't even think about bowling full unless it is reversing. HIs best bet will be to test the batsmen with short-pitched deliveries.

Right on cue after drinks, Kumar, is replaced by Singh.

India needs to get Ballance out ASAP.

He is the only English batsmen who scored big 100's this series.

Why don't Indians like fast bowling?

Coaches probably.

They teach youngsters to bowl line and length and abandon pace.

Worst part is, most Indian bowlers cannot even bowl line and length and pace is all but gone by the time they enter the National team.

Aaron, short, Bell cashes in and pulls, for 4, easy as you like. No effort in that one.

This new bowler is very fast isn't he! Is he a good bowler? Does anyone follow his domestic career?

Make that a consecutive copy.....Bell collects three boundaries form the last 3 he has faced.

England less than 90 behind.

Our bowlers are making English batsmen look better than they really are.

2 hit me balls in that over by Aaron.

Time for Spin?

Balance joins in with a solid drive through mid on off Singh. Signs looking ominous with these 2 at the crease.....wicket needed, time for spin?

Wow he bowls 90pmh, fastest bowler in the game by 5 mph.

I've seen our lads hit that speed in the past few matches, but there's bowling fast and bowling well fast. This lad is not particularly accurate is he so far?

Anything Aaron can do, so can Singh.

Short, width, cut for 4.

Both men move into the 20's....and scoring fairly quickly too

TBH, pitch has eased out considerably. RIght now, not much in for Pace bowlers.

Time for spin.

And time for spin, it is.

Ashwin comes on from the media stand end.

Field set is slip, leg slip, point, cover, mid off, mid on, mid wicket, deep square and a man towards the 45, half way to fine leg.

Our bowlers are lulling the English in a false sense of security before they unleash their fury and blow the English away. #bleedblue

Ashwin is a good spinner in the SC, hasn't proven much outside MarkCooper

Yeah, agreed.

My school team's coach, who is an Indian, is always telling bowlers to slow down the pace and concentrate on line and length.

What sort of bowler is Ashwin? Is he Ajmal class? he has good stats

He's not Ajmal class. Probably a notch below Swann. Averages 52 against us, has a 0-108 v SA and averages 30.21 against Australia. Has 18 and 21.6 against NZ/Windies that account for half his wickets, and all of those at home too. Averages 24 in India, 62 in Australia, hasn't taken a wicket yet elsewhere just yet. Decent spinner, good at home, untested or unknown abroad.

Pankaj has all the ingredients to become a Dhoni favourite. Doesn't pick wickets, trundles away and is a defensive bowler.

5 bowlers is good but you think on this pitch having 2 spinners is a good idea? This is a fast pitch.. I think spinners bowl would come nicely on to the bat.. might get extra bounce though..

They will come into play in the 2nd innings.

They can keep the pacers fresh and pick a few wickets in the first innings.

We don't have enough quality to risk playing 4 pacers.

That last ball sums up Pankaj Singh. What a pathetic delivery. Something I would bowl if I were asked to.

Bell operating at a run a ball more or less...30 from 32 so far.

Dhoni once again proves his captaincy by pushing back midoff after one aggressive stroke by Bell.
