Till he produces results, he should keep quite. I am sick of reading his statements every day talking about aggression and positivity followed by negative approach in the field.

media people exaggerate a bit too much, i Have not seen an interview on tv, where he says all that stuff, and even if he did, he has to say that stuff because pakistani cricket is in a BIG problem right now with fixing and stuff

younus khan had the chance to captain and i love that guy but he gave it away, now give afridi a proper run and then decide

Afridi's defensive field placings didn't help either. Both strauss and trott are nudgers and they were given every chance to take singles and 2s.
 
It isn't just this game though is it? He's been doing this since the Australian tour. Try to make things happen FFS!
 
I don't blame Afridi only. What the hell is the support staff doing? It's not like Afridi made a mistake in one over or two. This field setup is there since several overs and everyone is just sitting and watching.

Waqar , Aqib and Ijaz should know better.
 
Total blame goes to Afridi for this match. It was his poor captaincy which cost us this match. Stupidity at its best. I wonder what's coach doing in the dressing room?

10-15 yrs ago 6.5 rpo would have been a mountain to climb, but with batting PPs and T20 mindset, its like chasing 4 rpo when u have batsman in hand

yaar this is not football where the management will give directions on how to change things. In cricket it's the captains job, when the team walks onto the field he's in charge. Coaches prepare for games not manage during them.
 
Afridis non-batting will cost us, that set the ball rolling. He SHOULD have got us past 300+, everyone else made a telling contribution other than him ... again. Just like trying to hide Irfan in the field, where would you hide Afridi in the batting????

I don't think it'll be that big a deal to tell Afridi to bring field in and stop the singles for the spinners. :wahab
