pathentic strategy by england neither they are declaring nor they are playing fast....just keep irritates the pak team and us... too much idiotic approach.
 
'' Absolutely no intent from Pakistan, just going through the motions are most of the lads''- very rightly sums up cricbuz at tea.This is where Pakistan is way behind Aussies, SAF, England and India. If any team puts pressure on Pakistan they just crumble. Pakistan has lost fighting spirit completely over the years whereas in 80's and 90s Pakistan had it in them full to the brim.
 
So how many catches have we dropped this innings?

Even this strategy is tiring the Pak players and wearing the pitch which helps Eng. The problem is their only spinner is Ali, who shouldn't pose too many problems to Pak. Adil Rashid would have been a much better option.
 
Shaany is a pretty decent seamer to be honest, Yar issi ko hi train kar loh as the fifth bowler.
 
Not a bad idea to replace Rahat with Shan and Wahab with Imran and get another bowler or batsman

All the teams you mentioned are poor travellers.
Infact according to michael vaughan pakistan are most resilient .
You clearly havent seen test criccket recently .
Australia get pummeled i the subcontinent without a fight same and perhaps even worse for India.

not gonna even watch our batting, can already tell we are going to block to block and get out then look so confused and puzzled (hafeez/Azhar)

Our players' fitness look really poor. Fielders are too tired to drive, catch or run after the ball.

Sharjeel would have either nicked off against Anderson in the first over or pulled one straight into the hands of deep square leg if he was lucky enough to middle one.
 
Now Root should try to break Lara's record and we may have chance to draw considering heavy rain predicted later
 
This has been an absurd day from Pakistan. It was obvious what England were going to do and it was also obvious that they had batted us out of the game. We should have tried to dry up the runs today and delay the declaration as much as possible.

Can't understand what we're thinking.
 
What an innings by young Joe Root. Mentally destroyed Pakistan here. No other result but 3-1 England in this series now.

Excellent catch from Hafeez.

Hafeez and Masood have to get some runs, no demons in the pitch, apart from the new ball swinging for a few overs.

They are thinking we have got 9 sessions to get pak out twice and then 25 overs left to chase whatever they put up with our 10 batters.
They bank on getting our openers out cheaply 2nte and get to work in the morning for the other 18 wickets in 8 sessions
Pak on the other hand need to make sure they avoid follow on
 
Bairstows got the 50. England are just wasting time by not declaring but its good for us
 
If there is rain on day 3 and 4, this time batting could cost for England. Good news for us

They have enough runs on the board. What's the difference between 580 and 600? Declare now and they get another 5-7 overs today to ball at the exhausted Pakistani team. Keep delaying and it gets better for Pakistan as less overs to face in the day.
 
Yasir can never be a good Limited Overs bowler. Hope Asghar, Gohar or Usama are selected in ODIs in stead of him

hopefully even on this pitch by some miracle we can get a decent opening partnership with Shan/Hafeez

Would be a genius move, though i don't expect such things from Misbah and management.
 
Finally they declare. Upto comando and professor to get us off to a good start. Than hopefully azhar asad and team man can get big scores.
