What's new

England v Pakistan | 3rd Test | Birmingham | Aug 3-7, 2016 | Day 1

It is clear now that Amir was helped immensely by the conditions in England in 2010.

If he wasn't banned, he would have been exposed by now.

Typical Rahat a few garbage balls and then a few good ones, seriously is not good enough for test cricket!

Man that's unlucky, bowling down Jaffas and not getting wickets. [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]

Wooh, awesome delivery. But still people blaming bowling decision :) Just imagine, Anderson bowl 6 deliverers on same channel, he would have been destructive.

And :out

If he would have played for another 5 years he would have developed into an even better bowler, you really do talk some utter nonsense on here.

Long tiring day is ahead. This test looks like mirror of last test or may be even worse!!!

Rahat as usual is the best bowler on display, shame he didn't get the first few overs

Basic straight on line bowling from sohail gets him the wicket. Thats all our bowlers have to do. Patience and wickets will come

:out:

Hales gone. Now Pakistan face the real challenge. The game hinges on Root's wicket

Shows what the pitch can do if you bowl in right areas. People complaining about bowling first should imagine Anderson and Co bowling on this wicket

Rahat needs to bowl exactly like he did during the end of his last over

Just helps having that right-armer for variety in the seam attack.

Get either of these batsmen now and we will win the match

Well deserved wicket that for Sohail, we need two more wickets before lunch here.

This pitch has no live grass on it at all. How on earth did Misbah decide to bowl first?

It's a 340-4 day 1 pitch.

Than why he is flop now in this bowling friendly condition?

This is pretty much a 2 man team.

Get Cook and Root and you're on top. Bairstow is probably the only batsman who will offer some resistance.

Cook is a far more aggressive Batsman in Test Cricket than he is in limited overs

Key to getting root out early is dont give him easy runs and starve him and he will throw it away.

Rahat with his regulation boundary ball per over.....

Come on Rahat get him out.

Cook probably in the form of his life, hes a super sayin level 4 compared to what he was in 2010
