they've scored 50 in less than 12 overs every time in this series. Shows how badly we're bowling
 
I would rather play with 10 men from now instead of this Sohail

His release point is low as well and he is losing a lot of bounce.
 
Poor use of the new ball. Amir got swing but his length was poor, couldn't get it between good and half volley area.

Today shape of his shape is much better, probably best we have seen this summer. Regardless of conditions, if shape of seam from your hand is good, you will bowl better. Woaks is prime example.

Out swing was not his main weapon, mostly on angle, in Odis and T20 he has bowled out swing. Even one of the cooks wicket (the very first this series) was on out swing.

Is it just me or is amir bowling 3-4 mph faster this time than any time during the series
 
The guy took 7 wickets in the last match and you are already up in arms against him. Give him some time.

Yes that will improve with him improving his legs (fitness)


But the main missing ingredient is the seam up outswinger or the one which goes across with the angle.
 
Not even at drinks, and the green is already gone from the pitch.

Sohail khans pitch map to the right handers is so embarrasing .
All over the place .

He had a seam up delivery which used to go across right hander or seam away ocassionally and his wrist used to be behind the ball.


If you see his fivefer in Lords 6 years ago that he dismissed pieterson, prior & swann on that delivery. That delivery made his inswinger more potent and threatening aswell.


Now the one he intends not to swing back into right hand batsman is clearly visible from his hand as he bowls a mini offcutter and seam is very scrambled.
 
Yah the bowling is no good but gotta appreciate how well cook is playing swing these days , he has never been that good in his entire career. Not even against australia when he was in red hot form. Not any lallu panju can play late swing like that.

Wait till day 3 i would say. It looks like a belter and not much spin on offer here
 
Man these guys should go back to army training and grenades should be thrown to them, if dropped it'll unpin itself :bash::bash::bash::bash:

Thankfully Iftikhar drop hasn't proved costly.
