Dani going at over 6 an over. Attacking leg spinners surely are an expensive luxury. So are crap ones ...
 
Gul has been the major disappointment in this innings. Kaneria hasn't been influential for quite a while now. Ridiculous to expect him to be a strike bowler when his last good performance was 3-4 years back
 
Better from Danish, quicker through the air, getting some rip and keeping it outside off.

To be fair, I feel for him. It's not easy operating a two man attack (both being fast bowlers who need rest). He doesn't want to injure them.

When Gul is on song, then it's the best attack in the world. However in the middle without Asif or Aamer bowling either end, we struggle. While Gul is good for the majority of overs, a few loose overs by Gul and a few bad overs from Kaneria (usually on a pitch not suiting spinners) and the pressure is lost and batsmen become set.
 
can't blame the captain here, Danny and Gul are bowling horrendously. I can see the logic behind bowling Malik as the pitch is favouring spin but both spinners are bowling crap!

Amir and Asif need a rest, i think we need to slow them down again and get Asif and Amir bowling after tea.

Should give bowl to some one like farhat , Azhar or amin for few overs
 
Well if our 'established' bowlers are already bowling crap then what's the harm in trying out other part time bowlers in the team? They can't do any worse. Maybe one of them will strike too, if we are lucky.

There is definitely some thing in the pitch for the spinners...
Farhat should get a bowl....!!
 
Here is an idea, give Farhat a go instead of Kaneria if you want a slow bowler.
True he isnt a regular bowler but I do not see anything worse than Kaneria plus with a part timer you never know.

I do not buy this, what can poor BUTT do.
Pretty poor captaincy.

Will ten mins to tea, you should be pushing for something and not sit back and wait ala Yousuf

Haha, your logic is pathetic. We're on a forum where almost everything is opinionated. And because I said we can't win(which is a strong possiblity) you say I should stop watching. Damn those school holidays..........
 
2 wickets here and England will be on the backfoot again. Don't forget the pitch is a more than decent one for batting
 
that was out, and pakistan used the reviews at the right place but it just didnt work out

Which game are you watching? It has been swinging and now spinning sharply on the first day. Yeah, it's a batmens paradise......moron.

You do know predicting the result of a test match based on the first two sessions is absolute nonsense? Stick to T20 cricket

yes, its not his fault his bowlers arent doing the job,
but its been a long time since aamer and asif bowled?
 
Am I the only one loosing it over BUTT and his stubbornness in using these clearly out of form bowlers. Try something already, think I am going to take a break from all this BS

Not much pace in the pitch. Ball not doing that much once the shine is gone. We are decent-ish players of spin so I am not worried about that aspect. Sometimes its better to understand cricket rather than spew out rubbish

Based on two sessions you say? We were underdogs coming into this match with the bowling being our mainstay. The bowling, bar Amir and Asif has been poor. You work it out kid.
 
Butts captaincy and shoddy bowling from Kaneria has absolutely let England back into this match. Anyways I need a break, hope things get better
 
again, honours even...superb first hour, good aggressive tight bowling, only to be ruined by zero backup from Gul and Kaneria...we are not going to bowl them out cheaply this way!
 
Malik has so far out-bowled our premiere spinner. That says a lot about our spin options at the moment

are you thick? what is he supposed to do, overbowl Asif and Aamer after a full spell after lunch? then who would you like to bowl in the rest of the innings, Amin and Farhat?

it's not his fault that Gul and Danish are serving up garbage!
