Bowlers keeping it tight.

I would rather give the ball to our main spinner than Malik. Hand over the ball to kaneria.
 
just tuned in, looking at scorecard pak has done well, can someone tell me what akmal did apart from the obvious???

typical Indy bias against Pakistan on cricinfo. Gul has over 100 wickets in Test.

India would love to exchange him if they could. :)))
 
Lot of talk here about how strong the ENG tail is, however I dont really rate guys like Prior etc.. My prediction still stands ENG all out 180 at max 200..

Why the hell is Malik on!!

He is bowling without any menace,giving away easy singles....!!
 
Colly and Morgan getting REALLY bogged down here,runs have dried up.

Also well fielded that previous over at mid-off.

disagree, Kaneria will just ease any pressure that has been created...perhaps give Amin a couple of overs.
 
I thought Malik was injured. But he is back. Good things never last...

He better prove himself with the bat today.

And did Kaneria die during tea? Why does Butt keep bringing on Malik???
 
game going through a lull here malik bowling is baffling considering there was spin for kaneria earlier. come on captain time to try something else.
 
Malik doesn't look threating at all. You have to give a good rip on this pitch, even Farhat would create more chances.

But in the end,you want wickets..Agreed that he might give away some runs But he is more likely to pick up a wicket than Malik...Like in Trott's case,almost had him but alas! UDRS denied him....:danish
 
Should give Dani a second chance here,after all he did have a close shout for LBW in his first spell.Gul and Malik not threatening any more here.

that's true, but applying pressure by denying scoring opportunities is also an attacking maneuver.

Gul is not test material :) , even if he picks up the odd wicket ever 70 runs
and no im not basing this on just the fact that hes currently being battered

Must build some pressure back on England,cant let them build a partnership here !

Just shows pace isn't everything, he's our quickest bowler and by far the worst.
 
What was all this talk, Gul saying before the match that he is in good form.
At current form, I would have him warming the bench rather than playing test cricket.

To me he is the weak link in the bowling.
 
Gul isn't really a Test bowler. Very decent in LOI's mind but doesnt really have the temperament for Test's at this moment in his career. His concentration seems to wander every couple of overs.
 
Gul off the pitch. Probably off for some advice from WIki.

Taking all the pressure off with Malik and Gul. Kaneria is in now. Amin should be given a chance.
 
Look at the idiot Kaneria, going for four of his first delivery and then bowls a dot ball and runs down the wicket as if he was murali, idiot!!!
