Ones where you have to dive forward and take it low are the hardest ones to catch tbf to him
 
The ball is not even swinging for us, the conditions cant possibly change so quickly. This is just bad performance from Pakistan over all!

The counter argument is of course that do you blame the bowlers. I would also have been burnt out physically and mentally if this kept on happening. Batsmen refuse to do their job and I am expected to make up for it day in and day out.

It is simply asking for too much.
 
This is just sad.

But at least, Zoni isn't terrible as a wicketkeeper. He is decent, actually.
 
just few weeks back Bangladesh were chasing 385 in asia cup where they just did not go after the score because batsmen new it would be a futile attempt,so they were very laboured in their Approach.Here in PPer's got after them saying how bad their not making a game of it.

well today the pitch is nice and easy to bat on Pakistan batsman made it look like it was a snake pit.

Truth is the whole batting line up is just PATHETIC like it' s Administrators also and selectors.
 
zulqi so far on the money.. malik dropped the catch and predending that it was quite difficult. Khuda ki laathi beawaz.. so his fingure is hurt.

Counter argument is that you are playing for your country, not the local gully team. Wether the batsmen perform or not, as a bowler who has wanted to play for pakistan since childhood, you should have more of a heart to perform each time you go out there.
 
the worse part in all of this is listening to the likes of Botham rubbing it in. They make us look like a club team - apparently rightly so.

it is a pity but a harsh reality that we lost this Test match in only the first session of the first day. Pakistan should be completely stripped of the test status.
 
now looking at thsi batting talent we got!!! is it going backwards to call two of yoru best batsmen, to have ablend of youth and old heads and slowly see them off?
 
In last test England scored only 8 more runs in their first innings and were still able to win the match from there. Can we do that?
 
Zulqarnain looks and feels better keeper to the eye so far, he looks more atheltic as well

Man, shut the H up. would you have supported them if, pak would have made runs today. kamran is dropped, and as far as i am concerned this is quite a good side.

The players that we are really missing are yousuf and younis.

Pakistan not bowling like England have did earlier, way too short from Pakistan. Run rate suggest all of that how Pakistan bowled so far in ten overs.

Amir coudnlt swing the ball today. Thats what we missed. But than again the kid is seriously over worked.
 
Azhar Ali managed 0 from 32 balls and Farhat 0 from 24??? Laanat hai aisay players par. Even I could've done better than that.
 
ajmal looked good. pak down not out. overcast so its swinging and i m gonna have a cup of green tea.
 
Please Ijaz Butt do the decent thing and quit. We all know Zardari aint never firing you.

Saeed Ajmal been into the attack and decent start first up only one off the over. And thats Tea now with England complete control of the game.
 
How the hell can a Captain of a team bowled out on 72 smile? But no wait Butt is smiling because he dont know what is self respect and honour of the country.

So.. who is Yousaf going to replace? As we all know, we have two shiny golden ducks right in our top order today. Other than those, we have some other ridiculous batsmen too who we can do without.

And surely, Ijaz Butt should be begging on his hands and feet in front of YK right now to return, if he has an iota of a brain.

So who will Yousaf replace?

Pakistani Team? I would say this the worst international team I had ever seen in the past 25 years. They are worst then Canada and holland also. They should Thank the All Mighty Allah that at the moment they are not playing against Bangladesh.
 
So far in the Test series:

The bowlers are under pressure to deliver miracle every tiem they come to bowl. My club elven would actually play better than this.

If you are going to get out for something like 60 - 99, might as well go hard and make a few runs. They seem stuck and overly defensive. There is a differnce beingcautious and picking teh right ball, get the eye in and rotating the strike to reduce pressure and ticking along - compared to look completely dumb founded and stuck in a rut.

Granted, the batters have had over cast conditions and are relatively tyoung but come on, the didffernce is so huge betrween the application and excution as to whhat England batters have done and adopted to what we are doing.

Bring back YK and MY for two tests at least and blend younh and experineced players to let then get a feel for thing rather than ruining them under these conditions and extreme pressure. However, I have not seen one single batter who looked the parta nd can absorb the pressure and grit it out somhow.
