Uppish single from amla really careless guy.
Cricinfo says another 47 overs left in the day, is it correct? If so then SA can bat for another 15 overs. Look for 300 lead.
They have the bowling attack to bowl out England in 120-130 overs.
Here it comes. The declaration. My prediction: England will be 3 down. And England will send night watch man. Poor Jimmy.![]()

133 overs left in the game.
2 results possible. SA win or Draw. Draw looks likely but with Steyn we never know.
Here's Gary W. Reilly: "This is no blip for England. Sadly, the English’s usual arrogance and HOPE prevail prior to seeing the actual mark of their opponents. England are always good to potent at home because of the conditions. If conditions are right then you can compete. In South Africa, our varying climates make ALL conditions available, so we play the game not the pitch or the conditions.
If it was cloudy overhead with a tinge of green, then England might have a chance with Bresnan’s late-nippers or Anderson getting some swing with the new ball or reverse with the old. But in these conditions, the ball is just easing through very predictably and with guys like WE know we got, this is the fruit of that. Smith, Amla, Kallis, de Villiers are real class and their class has not been overly tested in this test.
Lastly, remember that whatever you can do we can do better. Give us a green mamba and Steyn, Morkel and Kallis will extract all that available, give us a turning wicket and Tahir will extract too. So England’s big-boys are going to have to step-up and play out of their socks to rescue this extremely embarrassing situation.
All our love from Cape Town."
