If Swann has been negated on this pitch, I do not know how he'll impact at the other venues which are known to be less spinner friendly?

Strauss needs to be clever here. His regular bowlers are proving to be ineffective. It's time he gives the ball to his part timers

"For all of you who have asked, Firdose Moonda, our South Africa correspondent at The Oval, confirms that Amla (and Imran Tahir) are only fasting on non-match days
"

Think Swann's bowled reasonably well. Amla and in particular Smith as a left hander, have played him very well

Umar Akmal will soon be the NO.1 batsman in the world. He's a future great.

------------------

Wishful thinking!!! :umarakmal

Actually SA wouldnt mind the new ball, as it'll keep Swann away from bowling, atleast for next 15 odd overs

80 overs gone now. New ball possibly will be taken & time for a drink, I wish I could have one!

Big shout!

England keeping it tight of late.

Hoping to see AB bat today!

Captain back on the field.

Good shot. 1 run.

Kp must bowl!

Couple of overs away from the new ball.

Immense powers of concentration shown by Smith.

Off cutter by Bresnan.

Late jab down on that one.

2 overs till the new ball.

I'd definitely give a part timer now.

Great to see!

KP on to bowl. Big cheer!

1 to Amla.

Very slow. 50 mph.

You have some nice commentating skills bro :rameez

Strauss is proving to be cracking under pressure. His defensive captaincy is also not looking good.

BTW, on a weekend, with England playing in their own backyard, why arent we seeing many England fans posting here??

May be they'll emerge once things start improving for their team:13:

Expect run rate to pick up if England dont get a break through in the first few overs with the new ball

We must all be preparing for the olympics, far more important than this cricket nonsense ;-)

Three boundaries in a row. Broad must not be too happy

Was backing England to win, but doesn't look likely now.

Seems like a South African win or draw now. Probably a draw.

Smith out after an epic knock #respect most underrated current batsman?

Sent from my MT11i using Tapatalk 2

England badly needed that wicket! that need to get Amla out aswell so they can then try and attack from both ends. S.A have the platform to go and get 500 here now!

Kallis off the Mark, he needs some big runs for once in the UK.
