Inshallah they'll be 155 all out

Don't think so, England made a mistake, a huge one by electing to field. There has been regulation movement that we see in England, nothing special. I think they got carried away by the grass.

England should have played 5 bowlers, Swann and Broad are decent batsmen.

India 47/1 pretty solid start given the conditions.

England should just give Dravid 130 runs and say get out.. we need wickets to win the the match:HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

I cant see the grasss..need new glasses????

India's RR is 3.22, healthy'isc.

Why are English sporting black armbands? Something to do with the riots..?

The England team are all wearing black armbands in honour of Neal Abberley, Ian Bell's former batting coach who died recently.

Whats with this Eng's tendency to use obscure subs?

They had legitimate reason in the last test.

One thing I've noticed with these subs is that more often than not, they end up getting substantial appraisal from the media/fans. :pontingrunout

India are playing good, I thought they would fold for >200 as wickets would flow after that Sehwag one but now they seem to be on their way to 250+ especially if Dravid stays there.

Btw, did anyone catch Dravid asking rather shamelessly the umpire to remove Vaseline from his bat?

JUST KIDDING Indians, don't jump on me! :vaughan

No it was a pathetic joke. :p

JUST KIDDING duo

As Bumble said, very much a surprise considering the deliveries he's left alone.

I'm not talking about whether they've legitimate reasons to use them or not. I'm saying why not use your regular 12th man as sub as every other cricketing nation does?

Poor stroke by Gambhir which is a shame considering he was playing so well.

RR under 3 now, GG and Sehwag back in dressing room.

Bowling first has paid off, me thinks

Dravid + Tendulkar = formidable pair. England would be happy to get one of them before lunch.

They announce a squad of 12 or 13 generally and as soon as the game kicks off, the players that are left out are released and allowed to join their respective counties. So that's why they have to use the local boys/players as subs.

Teenda!!!

Don't think so, will need atleast one more to feel confident.
.

Edit: As I am writing this, Sachin plays a loose stroke and India are in trouble now.

*Calls 999*

Lady: What is your emergency?

Indian fan: We need the riot squad at Edgbaston, the English team is running a riot on India

Almost another one, Laxman was camping on the back foot as he usually does and an inside edge saved him.

One more wicket ..........it will be very very tough for India. They need to get at least 300 plus.

You mean past 300 for the first time in the series. What an achievement for the number one batting line up in the world! WOW!

Sameer Shadab has picked the peanut out of the poop: "Positive thing about Sachin's dismissal is that at least he did not get out to Anderson. Phew." from cric

2nd innigns Jimmy will get him as usual

3 rd Man is often the most neglected area when it comes to Test Matches, usually most runs come from there.
