Pakistan batting first. We are currently 15-1 after 7 overs.

Off to a poor start. Babar Azam our captain is already out. Sami Aslam is batting now with Imam Ul-Haq.

Watch out for Shozair Ali. I've seen him bowl at Edgbaston nets. He's such a talent. Bowls quite quick and has a very good line and length. He swings the ball away too. Very good talent.

15-1 after 7 overs.

:out another one out. Sami Aslam goes again! He hasn't had a good time over in Australia. That's four failures in a row for him.

Sami aslam needs to regain his form, Pakistan needs him for the U19 cup.

And Cricinfo needs to update the scores. Still stuck at 15/2

India U-19's playing Sri Lanka. India batting first are 33-3. Chand out.

Pak's score isn't updating..

Plus they are going at around 2 runs per over..

Just arrived now. Not a very good start again. 3-38 in 14 overs.

Spoke with the Pak coach. He feels that it will get easier to bat now. Ball was swinging earlier and much better now. He also commented that he thought the English bowlers looked stronger than the Aussies.

Drinks time. 3-47 in 16 overs. Little Inzi and Saad at the crease.

Good consolidation effort once again. Singles coming much easier now. 3-77 in the 22nd over.

Both imam ul haq and Saad ali continuing their good form. Really impressed by Imam

Still cannot believe England haven't bowled Shozair Ali who I've watched closely! such a good talented pacy bowler!

Excellent recovery, wonderful team this is, everyone picks up after each other

Just make them the starting international XI they play well together!

Bullet, yaar will you create a thread on Saad Ali? Looks very talented.

Thats what I love about this team.. Somebody always comes to the party.. Even after 3 early wickets we are in a good position..

Sorry for the delayed update guys. Was busy chatting with coach and manager.

Latest score is after 3-111 after 28 overs.

Both batsmen have looked comfortable since the English spinners have come on.

Claps from the Pakistan dressing room. Saad has got a fifty!

By the way it seems Saad's nickname in the dressing room is 'jadoo'. 'Jadoo' just hits another boundary, nicely clipped past square leg for FOUR. Bowler Tom Knight kicks the turf

Aneesh Kapil the bowler now plays for Worcester, he recently scored a 67 against Steyn & co.

There was 14 runs in that over from Tom Knight.

Saad and Ul-Haq run a good three runs for a ball hit through covers.

Now Imam-Ul-Haq getting into the English. Makes some room and hits Tom Knight straight over hit head for a FOUR - 135

Pakistan remaining batsmen are busy practicing their batting in the nets.

Lovely partnership, both batsmen have played their roles effectively.

Saad Ali currently looks very elegant. Most of his shots have been along the ground.

Great news and its even better that he's striking at 110+ whilst hitting runs along the ground. How is the running & strike rotation?

Yes indeed. They need to play till the 45th over at least. The last 5 overs of batting PP also coming soon, if they already havent taken it.

148/3 after 33 overs

That was a similar shot to the last, made some room and hit Tom Knight back, but the fielders are back now, so only a couple.

The strike rotation has been a highlight of the innings so far. Both have hardly gave any chances... As I write this Saad looks to work a full ball through the legside but top edges a ball from Kapil and it lands just before a couple of fielders, Lucky!

Seems like a good wicket to bat on

It wasn't early on. We were 3 down and the ball was swinging a lot apparently..

& Genghis that's great news. We need these type of players. Strike rotation is key in modern day cricket1

Windies 161/2 after 38.3 overs against Australia. Looking strong.

Allways tough in the morning. These are 09:30 starts so you expect early movement, but once that is over the wickets seems to be good.

This time a let off for Imam-Ul-Haq. Bowler oversteps and the batsmen tries to pull but only manages to top edge a short ball which is taken by fine leg. But NOT OUT!

Left handed Saad makes some room and hits it well over gully for another Boundary. Poor start after Drinks by England - 6 runs off just 1 ball.

Pakistan looking in control now of this game - 3-167 after 35 overs.
