ICC World Cup 2023: Australia (241/4) defeat India (240 all out) by 6 wickets to win the final of ICC World Cup 2023

It's a low total and dew will be there soon. Spinners did nothing in first inning.

Over bowled Shami in the first pp. Shami always been first change bowler. It worked but 3 overs then should have brought Siraj.

Aus have gone Pakistan way , completely shocked at their approach this is WC final and they are callous where is there Steve Waugh and Bevan

Marsh's shot was weird given the circumstances, slashign at wide ball, then winking
Smith not reviewing when he is someone who reviews 9 times out of 10
Thought he winked at bumrah but yea would like to know what that was about.

Shami was too expensive in these 5 overs. Siraj will always give many hit me balls. Aus just need to bat normally and get a partnership.

The cauldron is literally like playing with a 12th player. It's a massive advantage.

Shami hasn't even bowled well today. Spraying it but that's what a 12th man + the DJ cheerleading will do.

Jadeja on. Rahul been decidedly poor keeping wicket so far.

Kudos to India for putting an Australian side under pressure. All Aussies needed was a 70 runs partnership. And the target will be close to 100 runs .

Ok. Then watch Indian innings and then come back.

PS: It'd be a torture to see it again though
There were no gifts. Aussies were made to work hard for each wicket.

Here 2 batsmen chased borderline wide balls and the 3rd one was not out and refused to review.

Kl Rahul is such a bad keeper.

I think Pant would walk back in to team as soon as he's fit.

Don't make your bias look so apparent, lol

Looks a very sticky wicket tbh.

Why isn't siraj bowling lol? Run machine will go for 50 here too

Aus need to focus but this Indian bowling is also a formidable unit

Head is clueless against Jadeja

Only dew can save them otherwise no chance against this attack

Decent over by Jaddu. Head has been incredibly lucky so far. No dew yet and damage has been done. Gotta pick up Head though

He is holding off Siraj. Doesn't want to give runs. Also get overs by spinners before dew sets in

Why isn't run machine siraj bowling lol? Cmon india we want siraj.

C'mon Kulli...need Head....Lab is doing the number for us.....or hopefully an inspired bit of fielding/runout.,..c mon

I still can't get my head around that why didn't Smith review that LBW decision. He must have surely known that it had hit him outside off stump as he was a fair way across.

Head told him it's out. Every batsman confers with his running partner

Rigged? Also indian batting seemed sus. Slow pace batting. Something fishy.

Dew will come soon, don't give wickets to spinners.

Poor captaincy by Rohit here, get long-on up. Can't allow Labuschagne to settle by giving easy singles. Force him to play over the top, there's still enough runs to play with. Secondly, his role is to bat deep. I doubt he'll take the risks and advance down the wicket or hit through the top.

Sky is the most useless batsman in this tournament surely?
Him and kl's knock lol was lol worthy. Most boring couple ever.

Hmmm. Like what will Labu do if settled?

He's a meaningless player this wc

Head is going to win this for Aus.
Truthfully, he looks like a walking wicket.

Literally for the reasons Punter just described, backfoot attacking play.

He's almost chopped on already and is inviting the ball on, exposing his stumps - and he hasn't exerted any pressure as a the trade-off.

Too many easy singles for my liking. Could learn a thing or two from Bavuma's captaincy

Last 5 overs been good for aus these 2 need to keep going no risk required
