This India team is very weak mentally
Playing dots after dots. Cant get out of tough situations

No wonder haven't won a SINGLE ICC tournament in 10 years. Always losing when it matters most

Will most probably lose this match as well

Another Kohli selfish century loading. But sadly this time the selfishness will be exposed

50 for Kohli. Well played. Needs to carry on get big one. He holds the key!

Lol, finally a double from Rahul

What pathetic batting in a WC final

LMAO cracked me up there. High security prison they aint lettint anything through!

Good job Rahul. Just hang in till 30. You are not capable of smashing these clever spinners so let people be critical of your tuk tuk but this is what he needs to do. Accept his limitation and go with the flow.

Pitch is absolutely fine

It's a mixture of Australia's good fielding and India under pressure

No matter what the situation is, you gotta score runs in limited overs cricket.
ODI cricket is more nuanced than that and very situational. These two are setting the game up for the middle order and giving their incredible bowling attack a very good score to bowl to.

And they are scoring just not at a rapid rate yet but if they are around for another 10-12 overs it’s still very much in India’s favour.

Pakistani fans are too damaged by their teams failures and seem to have developed an attack at all costs mindset. And the top teams just don’t do that.

It's 270 par pitch ..They need to keep patience ..Calculated risk only after 30 overs ..

Rotation of strike is as important part of ODI cricket

It's not that bad a wicket. He has completely pulled the shutters down. Even he is connecting the ball well, needs to look for gaps

As long as the run rate is good, we don't need to worry. Our tail starts with one more wicket. 280 is still under control. If we lose a wicket, we will be restricted to under 250 which is troublesome.

And it's not that some great bowlers are bowling.

These are part timers and you are batting in front of a huge home crowd.

India cannot let the RR get below 5. Yes Rohit’s gun blazing start giving them the leeway, can have a slow period but not so slow, this a final need to get as much runs.

Time has come now to up the ante. What Rahul was doing till 25 overs was correct. Now since he has survived, he needs to up the ante. Take it to 180/3 after 35 overs.

There is not even an intent from Rahul to score an attacking shot.

See this going two ways now:

1) India manage to accelerate and put up a respectable score, maybe even 300+

2) Since it’s a low wicket, they get out when they try to accelerate and we look back at this period of batting as what lost the game

We don't have batting depth, SKY won't do well on this pitch vs this attack at this occasion. These two need to keep batting like this.

Didnt know they have a Hindi commentary available too for this on sky mix. It should be fun listening to that

Easy ton up for grabs for Kohli now, fully settled in.

Very similar to the India v Pakistan game

That wicket of Kohli reminds me of Babar’s wicket

Woah! Didn’t Shaheen get him in a similar manner in the first Asia Cup game? Him misjudging the height and it hitting the bottom edge and ending up on the stumps?

This is when accumulation at a slow rate doesn't work.

The right idea but you just can't get out in the middle phase.

There's the game possibly. Kohli was in control all the way until then. Cummins has been a monster in this final.so far. Bowling changes and coming back to get Kohli

There is the game for Australia. Imagine if Rahul got out cheaply. We would have been bowled out at 175.

Now Rahul must survive for 150 balls and score a 100.

This what happens when u go way too tentative from both ends. This is KL fault too, he hasnt helped Kohli at all by playing test cricket.

Had we scored at a decent clip, Australia would have been under pressure. Now they have their tails up against 5 tailenders.

This has more to.do.with lack of pace

It's not KL's fault. Kohli was blocking this delivery.

Interesting to send Jadeja. Right left combo the reason possibly. Now the target moved from 300 to.250

Jadeja at 6 reminds me of pakistan sending shadab to prevent collapse and save ifti for last overs

This is best chance to win WC don’t think India will have better team than this in 4 years

Rohit wicket was a set back. Set batsman who is such a gun batsman I felt he could have waited, got the 50, fairly attack then kicked on after drinks break. Slowish pitch, gotta be selective cant attack every ball
One would think so. But he had a clear role to get 80 in 10. I think Shreyas wicket was the bigger setback. Pitch was for his liking and he's a monster against dibbly doubters and spin
