If Sky didn't catch that, you would have said India choked. It's a convenient explanation. I don't think anyone choked. Bumrah turned the game and rest of the pacers turned the screws on. Greatnfielding turned the game

Even after Bunrah’s over SA we’re still in driving seat.

SA need to do something about their long tail.

Jansen, Maharaj and Rabada can bat a bit. But they cannot be together when Nortje and Shamsi are following them.

5 bowlers has proven to be South Africa’s downfall. But your team played very well. A few kinks to iron out.
 
At the end of the day, nobody cares or remembers how you won or who choked. All that matters is winning. Some may look at the Pandya delivery as an innocuous way for Klaasen to get out. But I would argue that it was brilliant bowling and the successful execution of a plan he had been trying to execute for a number of balls.

For the last 4 overs of the game, I was just walking all around my living room like as if I was waiting for my wife was about to deliver our baby in the hospital, few years ago.

Super stoked by this game and the result.

India tactically buried htemselves by using spinners against Klassen. Also going in with 3 spinners on this Kensington oval wicket has proved to be disasterous

Playing 3 spinners was a tactical blunder but ultimately I think you had to bowl the spinners and save the last 4 for the seamers.

Klaasens batting was incredible. He smashed them all out of the park. Not a single mishit. I don't think India expected that.

Bumrah rightfully the MOM. His last 2 overs, when all SA needed was run a ball, is about as good a bowling performance as you're going to see in this silly sport of ours.
 
Player of the series is of course Bumrah. The way he bowled the entire tournament picking important wickets at the start, middle and at end is just unbelievable. Batsmen weren't even trying to take him on. He still got them. He kept bringing India back into the game in every game. He got Head against Aus, Rizwan against Pak. Phenomenal bowler

All Indian fans love them. But you have to admit that our batting could’ve been much better had Jaiswal was opening the batting and Rinku or Parag was chosen as all rounder instead of Jaddu who was worthless this tournament.

India won because of our bowling once again defending a below par score. Not to forget a bit of luck.

They were always going to defend against Bumrah and try and see him off. That was was SA’s plan. They lost because they couldn’t make up for it from Pandya and Arshdeep’s overs. They were the real matchwinners (and I hate Pandya)
 
30 in 30 turned into 16 of 6. Those 24 balls fetched 14. Despite that, the catch Sky took was what sealed the game

India won despite Kohli and Jadeja, not due to them.

But that loser won't understand this.

Bumrah's over right after Axar was massive. SA scored 39 runs in the 2 overs before that. Giving just 4 runs and almost getting Miller edged bowled changed the momentum a bit. They tried to get runs off Hardik and he bowled very smartly. Thrn he got Jansen and bowled a terrific over again. Jansen instead of Maharaj woukd have been a different dynamic. Arshdeep was also huge. And that catch sealed that deal. That catch under so much pressure needs massive nerves
