Idk why Indians are always so scared during the matches. This match is well and truly in India's bag. Only a miracle can save SA and no miracle is happening today.

I expect Kohli to get absolutely crazy after they win. I hope he shows some class. I am sure all Indian fans will also want that.

Meaningless dead rubber? What the crap you are talking about. Winning any test is significant. Despite lack of practice and huge ********* with selections India went toe to toe with SA.
 
Pehlukawayo is an average bowler and a poor batsman. Surely Morris is a million times better than him.
 
Phehlukwayo what a waste of space. Surely there's better crickers than him in SA?

Pehlukawayo had to play because Bavuma is injured and they couldn't select another white cricketer after playing 7 in the first test. The transformation ratios need to be maintained after all.
 
I am still unhappy we could easily have won 2-1, there was a lovely chance this time!

All bowlers played their part. Shami with hose 2 quick blows and Bumrah/Ishant with a couple at the top

The fielding has cost SA this test match. As being witnessed, 150-175 is a winning target here.

That sucks. Race should not come before talent.

Morris is a very good batsman and he is no trundler like Pehlukawayo.

Most countries will be thrilled to have Morris in their side. Wish India had someone like Morris.
 
had it not been the whining and award winning act by some o the proteas match would have been over before lunch, India were robbed off 25 overs of play when pitch was being bettered

7/35 so far, I guess it might be 9/50 or so.

I think, teams need to play more T20s - these tuk, tuk batsman ko hizra banake chora. Those 120 runs are scored in 10 overs in power cricket these days.

Ok bhai, this win means india were the moral victors in the series. Standards must be really low in these parts. Can't believe a team which boasts of being number 1 will be so ecstatic that they prevented a white wash. :))

Nope we are happy winning a test match against a good team away from home the same way you lot are happy when you don't lose by an innings outside BD.
 
Southafrican batting is too weak to go in with so many bowlers .
Especially useless ones like phephluckwahansayayo .
Bizzare selection . Should have played an extra batter .
A bit like India with Pandya .

Didn't he take a brilliant catch to get Amla? But I agree, he has not done much in this Test to justify his selection.Would have included a proper batsman in place of him.But I think Team management is persisting him with an eye on the future.
 
well done India. You deserve this. Indian bowlers have been exceptional this series. If only batting had raised itself this would have been India's series.
 
Let's hope Shastri and Kohli stay on ground and carry the pluses and understand the mistakes too... We definitely should have better chance in England (Also keep an eye on ODIs & T20s against South Africa we are yet to win that either in South Africa.)

India won. Once sun started beating India came back. Wish India had won the toss in the 2nd test and went with better selection and held on to catches lol TOo much to ask. Lack of practice let them down.
 
As I stated before, SA paid for their lack of concentration. India was the team that wanted to win and SA came in assuming India will hand them the game in a platter for having a soft nature on a bouncy wicket. WELL done India - great determination.
 
Congratulations. India won as i predicted throughout this thread. Deserved winners. A fantastic battle on a pitch which was not suitable for playing test cricket. India's Bravado in their 2nd innings is a fairy tale. Well done.
 
I'd love to watch another test match between these two instead of t20s. What's the point of playing 3 pointless T20s.
 
Very good bowling performance from Inda one of the best I have seen from a Subcontinental side touring away from home. :thumbsup:14:
