What's new

India [340/6] beat Australia [304] by 36 runs in the 2nd ODI, level series 1-1

And he gets the cheap wicket I was tlaking about and the spirit of cricket award holder calls the batsman a sister ***£££ perfect guy to give the award too.

Boundaries are very short kuldeeps overs will define the game he might pick up a few wickets cause batsman have to slog now and than his fans will go gaga over him again

Kuldeep's overs definitely defined the game, so good prediction.

RainStopsPlay what did I say he will pick up soft cheap wickets in the slog fest

Yea, getting deceived by the bowler and thereby getting bowled is akin to getting a cheap wicket.

I know I know, but these cheap wickets are going to keep Chahal out of the game for a few more games 'cause Jadeja picked up wickets too.

When he pitches a tad short of a full length he is in business. He is a gun wicket taker. Third fastest Indian to reach 100 wicket mark in one dayer. Fastest Indians pinner

Shami 56
Bumrah 57
Kuldeep 58
Irfan 59

Agar can’t bat to save his life it’s hilarious it says all rounder on his profile I would rather pick Chris Martin to bat for my side instead of this dude. He’s gonna get out in the next 12 balls that’s guaranteed

Kuldeep got game changing wickets actually.

Will mask the fact he bowler poorly today tho.

Both him and Chahal have been poor for a while now.

This is a flat wicket. Under lights it is even easier to bat. He did beat the batsmen a few times. Few cross batted desperate shots crossed the boundary. Can happen

Mate they were milking and mowing him everywhere when the run rate didn’t creep up other bowlers built the pressure and he was bound to get wickets when the run rate was nearing 10 this happens every time in a situation like this had he gotten these wickets in the middle overs of his spell they would be his wickets and he would have done his job his job is not to be picking up wickets in his second last over when he’s already given so many runs. This turned out good today for India cause the runs required were a lot but had it been previous innings or the target was 40 runs less India were doomed.

What a redemption by Kuldeep !

From having a bad day to winning the game for your team inside one over.

Kohli is the worst judge of drs he falls into the bowlers trap so easily like he wants to review it before even the bowler wants to terrible captain

Definitely both have had pretty ordinary last year and economy of both was pretty poor. Chahal average was a better than Kuldeep because of a 6fer he took at the start of 2019 at MCG but lackluster performances afterwards along with an economy of 5.74 as not good enough.

Nothign alarming. He is still our game changer. HE caught batsman in no man's land a few times. SMith swept and missed a few.

Batsman are finding him easier and easier.

His slow speeds are a problem.

His accuracy has gone down.

He is super weak mentally.

Dont wanna pile it on him cos he has mad skills. I hope he comes back. But for now, things aren't all that rosy.

Had he not got these wickets he would hav got massive criticism.

Smith did a good Kohli impression today, but there is only one king.

Its a perception issue.

Jaddu gets attacked all day even though he turned it on when it mattered in WC.

These 2 hav been declining and bottled it horribly in the WC and there is barely any criticism.

Its cos many rallied behind the leg spin is best spin koolaid and it was hard to swallow the fact that things can go wrong.

Lsat match he had Finch all at sea. This match Carey had no clue against him. Smith was also not exactly sure which way the ball turned. Sure they milked singles. But he is still the one guy who can get you wickets. No predictable bowlers.

I am with you bro. I don’t rate kuldip too much but he is useful. in saying that I would take Jadeja over him though.

Australia should pick handscomb on for the next game and India should play gill or pandya if he is available.

Clown should take a crash course from thala on when to go for DRS.

It’s hilarious also India has very good umpires but it’s guys like kohli who think they are bigger than the game and abuse and bully these umpires and than their confidence goes down and they end up giving bad decisions I’ve seen it in IPL all the time.

I still remembered Turner Mohali match winning inning ,he is still on crease so anything can happen

People think I hate the guy for some reason. I don’t it’s just that chahal is mentally strong compared to kuldeep he is very very weak if he gets hit for one six he completly loses his head. Also people fail to realize and look up stats chahal was the second best Indian bowler in 2019 yet he’s not being played. All of kuldeeps recent wickets have been in the end of the game where the match was already done even his Hatrick against West Indies.

He's a 15 yr old at heart!

I am sorry I don’t like both kuldip and chahal much honestly lol. Real quality spinners are guys like Saqlain in odi.

Jaded and Ashwin are good in tests not odi.

I dislike chahal cause he is such a piosquaeak lol. nha he is alright. But jeez man put on some weight mate faaark.

Labshagne too. He has skinniest toothpick arms I have ever seen.

Bumrah has a 6 pack so he is fine.

Damn I hope he’s okay but I think he’s dislocated his shoulder he’s gonna be out for weeks if that’s the case

Jadeja has definitely stood up in some ICC tournaments but I think he never touched a peak as high as Kuldeep and Chahal did in 2017-18.

They were rolling over sides but I think when a wrist spinner or a mystery spinner starts his career there is a novelty factor as well. Real test is when other teams can read and know all your variations, you need to start producing good deliveries to create an impact as getting a lot of wickets because other cant read you wont remain forever in modern era. Kuldeep definitely have enough skills but I think he is still trying to get the wickets by bowling too much of wrong ones or top spinners. Those are solid weapons but now they should be used sparingly as batsmen are able to read them more often than not and he needs to focus of producing decent deliveries with varying pace, turn and flight and wrong ones as a surprise in between as I think that is what gets top batsmen out when they know all your tricks.

This saini guy has all the tools in his armory. But uses them all wrong. The yorker was brilliant. WHy was he bowling short with no square leg and short and wide with no square thirdman.

Lmao kohli you haven’t done jack ur the worst captain ever give it up to rohit already he’s the future

Was a fantastic innings, credit where it's due.

Won’t call it a fantastic innings. He started slowly and got out at a time where should have put Australia in the driving seat.

He was brilliant in the middle-overs through.

Why is kohli abusing the poor Indian umpire again this is so sad he can’t say anything to the gora umpire but he screams and argues with the poor local umpires it really pisses me off

Calm down. Australia can still win the series and ease your pain.

:)) Some of these posters really make me laugh. Kohli at the age of 31 has 33 Test wins as captain, with 14 of them being overseas victories. He needs 20 more wins under his belt to equal Graeme Smith.

Australian and India too too heavy. I want to see how these 2 teams perform when both are 3 down at the early stages of the game.

Saini is a very good prospect. He will learn to mix his deliveries soon. His yorkers are getting better.

Tbh he is a shi* captain in ODIs.

Quite a one-sided game ultimately. It was also going to be India’s match after Warner’s early dismissal.
