Bit of rain around the MCG for this match

LOL saw on tv, Indian fan praying to GOD that India don't lose to BD, indian r so scared :P

Around 30,000 bangladeshi supporters have gathered together for this game at the G according to cricinfo.
That's huge!

Nothing about rain from cricinfo so far, so hopefully it remains a non-issue.

Similar forecast before SA v PAK iirc, and it turned out pretty good still.

Simple for Bangla Broskis, bat first bat big.

Rain is predicted late in the evening but only 30% chance and less than 1mm... so I guess we will have full game until and unless Bangladesh bowled out for 100 runs... :D

Hearts will be broken, tears will roll, silence will rule Bangladesh for days after we are done with them tonight #BleedBlue

Bangladesh fans will think twice before hacking our websites after this game #BleedBlue

Lol... Bangladesh fans are nervous. Understandable since they have reached so far. Few in my work are so nervous

Our guys are relaxed.

Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni share a lighter moment during a training session, World Cup 2015, Melbourne, March 18, 2015

One Bangla fan who works in a convenience store close to where I live was so nervous he was literary shaking just talking about the game. I told him straight up to take the day off tomorrow, he will need the time off to mourn and hopefully get over the pain.

Link of that piece please

1.05 pm: Sharda Ugra has chimed in from the G: "On the MCG concourse a large number of Bangladeshi fans are gathered. Cars driving into the parking lot have Bangladeshi flags being waved - either from windows or taped onto the roof. A group we met have driven down from Sydney, in one of those mini vans, say that they are expecting 30,000 fans. He mentions how they have all asked for leave, and gave the final ultimatum that if they weren't granted their wishes, they would quit anyways. The number of Indians gathering are smaller and, er, quieter."

I hope Indian players have boarded their luggage already on the plane back to India. Should have said farewell hotel staff as well. would save time and effort.

Only bangladesh can closely match Indian crowd at neutral venues....Hope our 30,000 will be able to out shout their 50,000

india needs to prove their superiority. every one in six ppl live in india, surely they should be able to cobble together 11 cricketers that are good enough?

As I have said before we have nothing to lose and we will lose in style. :akhtar

I would even enjoy a collapse by us.

How's the vibe in Bangladesh? They said they have nothing to lose and there is no pressure. Are the fans relaxed too?

My response would be that you score at whatever SR you need to win.

Bangladesh have nothing to lose . This could be their greatest moment ever .

Claim to be tigers , if they can actually become them with no fear they have a chance , it's sport. :ik

It's impossible to know that batting first so you score at what will be tough to chase . A sr of less than a hundred is usually not enough . Kp is right , times have changed

India have won the toss and will bat first, meaning BD will be chasing 400 probably.

From where I sit, there is some cloud coming but doesn't look too fierce. Hard to tell here though, the weather changes very quickly.

Today my friends, we are all Bangladeshis. Go Tigers!

That's true. I was talking more about chasing a target. Depends on the wicket too though.

When SL batted first yesterday first, it was a sluggish and two-paced pitch, which settled down later. Hope this is not case in MCG.

Srini mama runs the ICC and is Dallmyaa's boss.

Now-a-days Daalmiya is like Srini's proxy. :srini is still calling the shots!

nah that's wrong Daalmyaa can kick Srini mama any time out of ICC because he have the power of BCCI which is bigger than ICC and if i am not wrong Srini term is going to end as ICC president soon next president is Najam Sethi another clown lol

Ball will nip around under lights at MCG unlike at Sydney

India won the toss so get ready for sehwags statement for tomorrow. Something like " i told u bangladesh is an ordinary side, it was a cake walk for india to semis". Lolz

We are coming for India
