PAK vs IND 3rd Test Day 1

India win toss batting 1st. Pathan,Yuvraj,Ishant, and Gambhir come in.

Pak only 1 change. arafat comes in for Tanvir
 
India won the toss and chose ot bat. It was imperative we bat first and jsut add to the pressure like last time. Looks like they gonna try to bat us out of this game. By the end of day 1, we will know if we have a sniff of a chance to salvage this disaster of a tour.
 
India won the toss and will bat first and also india have made 4 changes , munaf,zaheer ,Tendu and dhoni are out and Pakistan made one change ,Yasir arafat is in for sohail tanveer.

good luck to pakistan and hoping our bowlers will take adventage of the early movement on and off the pitch.
 
I see we still have Sami in the team. Unless he gets back to his old habits, prepapre for another disappointing display from this guy

we had no other option but to play him(bhanja). good move to remove tanvir, he was absolute liability.

We didn't have a choice...did we, especially after Sarfraz flew home.

But good to see Arafat getting a chance, and i like that he replaced Tanvir. This is his chance to make a chance.

Tanvir needs to work on his bowling a bit more.
 
On the other had Pakistan have made just one change, debutant Yasir Arafat comes in for Sohail Tanvir.

No.. Tanvir would have been lethal on this pitch.

good point. if we had Sarfaraz we could've gone for specialist keeper and dropped bhanja. but stupid management sent him back home. :12: :12:

PAK had to take a chance by playing Akmal at 6 and Arafat at 7. This is a must win game.

Why keep Sami in the team then? He has been crappier than Tanvir throughout this series

tanvir got wickes but lleaked runs let the pressutre off an he is no allrounder

Sami has not been crapier than Tanvir...if you have watched the games at all.

I accept that Tanvir has taken wickets but Sami has been a better bowler.
Tanvir apart from the wicket balls have been very ineffective.

I like Tanvir as a player but he has some learning to do before he plays test cricket. He is a good prospect.

Better bowler? How come? If you mean better in getting whacked all over the place for boundaries then I might agree. But no way did he look more treatening than Tanvir. It was th same case of bowling two good deliveries, then bowling four crappy ones which would be smacked to the boundary

Shoaib needs to make Jaffer and Gambhir play. Too many deliveries allowed to be left alone

that's what i said..dont look at that column...look at the spells he bowled.

anyways this debate is not going anywhere...Sami wont be my first choice either but from the squad of 15 that we have, i will definitely play him.

As an Indian fan might as well say it at the outset: For all the fans who were banging on about how their team(s) were undermanned, understaffed and underplayed in the last Test- I still say it doesn't matter. Your team is what you play with. Finis.
 
80% of the deliveries have been left alone. The bowlers need to make Gambhir/Jaffer play!

As I say it, Gambhir smashes a half volley from Shoaib down the ground for four

it's tough being a pak cricket fan..

they are also playing kaneria again even though he hasn't done **** for the past few years .
 
Lal says trigger movement is only 1 inch for jaffer, i haven't see anyone who has trigger movements of a feet or two.
 
our bowlers need to make Indians play, otherwise new ball will be wasted.
Once Shoaib's 4-5 overs are gone, then it ll b easy for batsmen

bowling way outside the off stump. swinging further away. all the deliveries left alone. just one play and miss so far
