As I said South africa looked more complete/balanced team ( good batting & good bowling )

I dunno how you can say that. Even with Zaheer being injured and Ishant being wayward we bowled very well.

South African bowlers have been very ordinary lately. Check out their performance in their home country in the last few series and see how many times they gave away over 500 runs. On the other hand India has very rarely conceded over 400, the last match being an exception

Take out Steyn out of their bowling and its all rubbish crap there....Parnell looked nervous, Harris is a joker and Morket, at best, is steady.

If not for that Steyn spell , Saffies would be embarrased really hard!!

Your batsmen will get ruined on anything but a slow sub continent flat track by him and you know it. Parnell is 20 years old and bowls quicker than any Indian bowler (not that he plays because of his pace) so I am happy to give him time. Hopefully Dravid and Yuvraj will be back for South African tour. Indian batting looking better than SA, and on seaming wickets indian bowlers can also do well. (SA couldn't handle Zaheer Khan on indian pitches that well). So it will be 55 SA/45 India. Let's wait and see.

Nearly everybody of our big guns scored century in this series and not to forgot we were missing Dravid & Laxman( in 1st test)...

Reagarding sehwag, atleast he scores on flat tracks and makes an impact unless someone like Smith, Duminy, Devillers, Prince and even Kallis who can't even score on Flat tracks!!!!So u should guess ths standard of your batting...LoL!

And Yes Eng whipped your a$$ by an inning if I remember correctly and if you can't take out 10 & 11 in 2 test, it only proves that saffies are eternal chokers and will remain for the rest of their existence!!

South Africa are very good team.

Australia lost the ashes and 2-0 in India. SA just about drawed at home against England and lost when it most mattered in this test match. India were playing with 3 bowlers on the last day and so many overs were lost on the fourth day.

If SA were number one, they would have won 1-0 in India on Indian wickets. For now India is number 1 and their biggest test will come when playing in South Africa, this will surely test if India is really the number 1 team.

Deep, SA did not choke, give our opponents their due, they fought right to the end, and fell just short. Their number 11 batsman frustrated us for over an hour. Amla played brilliantly, and just failed to save the test match. It was an amazing match, and congratulations to both teams for playing a great series. Some graciousness in victory should be shown. Amla's batting in the series was as brilliant as I have seen in sometime.

As for the posters complaining about dust-bowls, did anyone of you actually watch the match? It was far from a dust-bowl. It was actually a relatively flat wicket right throughout.

Saffer, having said all that, anyway you cut it, complaining, deriding, or just pure fantasing, we are still number 1 in the rankings, and thats what counts, not individual opinions. SA may very well take the ranking back soon, until they do please stop

Yeah we will se Morkel, Parnell even in saffies...I bet you would be playing safe again(as usual) by giving Green track and not good test wickets beacuse your overerated bowlers can only take wickets on green bouncier wkts and **** in their pants bowling on good batting wkts....

what I have said is same applied to your friends in India....but as a true sports fan, better performance should always be appreciated, whether it's by you or by an Indian or by some one else....well, I am in hurry, have to gather with friends for a party....In the next few days there is Pak Vs. Eng T20...hope Pakistan wins because it's far better T20 team than england....good luck...
