Not really. Pitch is only going to get better and there was something in it for the bowlers at the start but the openers played well.

AB and Amla are always there. Faf du plesis has done well in his short career, Duminy is back and averages 40+. Also you got likes of Miller who played good against India.

Even Mclaren had a lot of runs in the warm up game. Ive seen Klieven hit big. Peterson can hold his own. I dont see a weak link.

No. He also played as opener against England, fired one game and failed in the other. His problem is a mental one I think, like Umar Akmal or Ian Bell.
