Well I guess Tenders has another opportunity to prove me wrong. Not much pressure at the moment so he should really see India home................

As always with cricket 1 could bring 2 / 3 and that would make it interesting

No Worries, at one stage the ABC had a decent cricket forum going. But for some unknown reason closed it down. The members there had the typical aussie traits of shortening and abbreviating things, and using Australian rhyming slang (dead horse = sauce).

Worth a look, this is the only place I could find the forum dictionary/glossary.

http://www.flamingbails.com/the-fla...1/glossary-updated-14th-august-2010-t3179.htm

Love it - thanks.

I have worked / played with a lot of Aussies - I guess pretty norm for somebody in London and Singapore! Anyway I love the Aussie sense of humour / trait of shortening phrases . Many first meetings involved finding suitable nicknames for team members.

Sachin in a hurry

Hauritz has shown how inept he is, absolutely useless on a 5th day Indian pitch

36.3

Hauritz to Tendulkar, SIX, Thunderous Wallop! He kills this one over wide long-on again. The crowd love it! It was almost an action replay

36.2

Hauritz to Tendulkar, SIX, 89.0 kph, Violence! Tendulkar bends his back knee, fetches the flighted delivery from outside off and smashes it over long-on!

Errm no, nothing will prove it wrong to you guys. If his unbeaten 100 against England in the highest chase ever in India (383) didn't prove you wrong, then nothing else will. You will just wait for the next time he fails and then start again

Like SODIT. Is the R in COARIAB root?

Any reference to David Hookes is always good!

Really dont know why they had a Tea break. Should have just played game till it finished!

Lol on a fifth day of a test match Hauritz going for above 6 an over.

India India India..what a win!!

Thank you Cricket Australia for saying yes to these 2 tests. These have been 2 of the high wuality tests we have played recently. Thanks also to the Aussie team for giving us such wonderful fight.

From former New Zealand fast bowler Iain O'Brien on Twitter: "Who's watching the hockey... C'mon Kiwi, make it a real bad day for Oz in India!!"

BTW Aus and NZ are playing the women's final for CWG hockey event and the match is tied 2-2, Kiwis scored a goal in last 10 seconds!

wow.......once again tendulkar has rescued India on a 5th day wt a player this guy is, truly the greatest batsman and I am lucky to be watching him live.........He has made things look so easy on a 5th day of test match.............

man think of the joy of the people all stuck together watching their heroes bat :inzi

+1

We're very fortunate to have him in our team.

Yes mate, R is root. "Couldn't organise a root in a brothel."

An aussie way of saying useless at organising things.

Similar tö "Couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery"

Hauritz to Tendulkar, 2 runs, 80.5 kph, Tendulkar roars! A rare gesture of so much emotion from the little big man. Rahul just smiles. The win was brought up by a paddle-sweep. Tendulkar ran hard and turned for the second run. He completed the winning run, turned around, lifted his arms aloft. And roared. He then has a chat with Ponting and both smile. It's a pretty lengthy chat actually. Ponting smiles and puts his hand around Tendulkar's back. The rest of the players shake hands with each other. Rahul and Ponting too have word with each other. Rahul gets across, high-fives Sachin and hugs him. And as they walk away, they have a look at each other and smile.

Brilliant! Would have loved to be watching.

dont like the aussies. but dont like the english either. lets hope it rains during the whole ashes :D hahaha

Sachin Tendulkar: "This series was a fantastic one. I would like to congratulate the whole team, starting from Laxman who helped us win. Along with Ishant Sharma. Also the bowlers. It was obviously going to be difficult on a track going up and down. Pujara showed tremendous character and his partnership with Vijay was very crucial one." On his own batting this year: "I don't count. Let the others count. I just want to continue scoring. Normally, there is not much crowd for Test cricket, thanks to Bangalore for coming out. You guys made the victory sweeter."
