There wasn't any outcry from some of these Non-OZ posters (who are jumping to bash Sachin or BCCI) for Watto's or Patto's decision yesterday. I agree it was very poor of Ump to not give Sachin out LBW but sometimes some people want to see only those things that they like to see(believe) I guess.

Don't forget Wade being given out when he clearly didn't hit it. :afridi

LethalSami,
So when India get a shocker, remind them of DRS. When others get sawn off, whinge brigade begins :87:

PS: Nice name calling troll. You must be a bitter person in real life. Have a suggestion. How about you move out of your parents house and get a life :)

If India is the one against the use of DRS then who cares if it goes against them? It was their choice not to have DRS in the first place. The other team would obviously prefer DRS but can't use it because of India. They don't have a choice.

But the decisions rarely go against India.

Lyon has been robbed of a wicket or two here.

If you had gone through my posts in yesterday's commentary thread you will find my disgust for those wrong decisions (Both against India and Australia). Even in this thread I have clearly listed out in a post where all those wrong decisions that were made by Umps in this game so far.

My point was/is, some people here are very quick to vilify certain players/teams whereas they will mostly keep quiet for the others of the same thing that they are blaming for.

This period here, on top but not getting a wicket is where the old oz just kept up the pressure until they got a break, but this new team tends to lose heart/direction after an hour or so of applying pressure.

The old oz had :warne Mcgrath :lee Gillespie. They had bench strength in Macgil, Kasprowicz, Bichel. Its not easy to replace them :zaka

Most entertaining session of the series.

Made even better by the purest troll of this forum :sachin

That's the biggest difference. With pressure and this kind of bowling India will struggle to take any lead.

Sachin to score a ton :sachin

Very difficult! I would say even a score of over 30 runs from him on this pitch with his current form looks like a distant possibility. His hand/eye/feet co-ordination and ability to judge the ball's length has been in wane for some time now.

I respect Siddle for his heart but that is exactly where he is powerful. Too thick to be captain.

Big last session needed for Oz.

Need to take at least 3 for 80-90 in this last session to be in with a shout of winning.

PHIXED :asif

Tenda PLUMB NOT GIVEN :moyo

31.1
Lyon to Tendulkar, no run, huge huge lbw shout as Tendulkar is beaten on the sweep. That has pitched middle and leg, and has hit him in front of middle. Only height could have saved him, but I'd say he was a goner there. Lucky to get away with this

You'll see he'll come good.

Quick and Short good stuff from Siddle.
Vijay gone India 3 down for 148.

Well good to see they picked themselves up after looking like falling apart. But the concern is it was only an unexpected wicket that got them going again. I fear we are breeding a team of downhill skiers (Siddle, Patto excepted).

Bouncers, ducking batsmen, helmets getting struck, lbw shouts. Are we at the WACA?

Rahane subscribes to the Dhoni technique of standing there and letting the ball hit you in the head.

Yeah poor guy, batting at number 5 at home, with an ATG up the other end, with the series already won. Its the definition of pressure :)))

tough variable pitch, with a struggling oldie at the other end and knowing failure here can dump him for good.pressure indeed

Signs are ominous for a tough day of cricket for our team. OZs have already got a decent 1st innings total which may not be easy to go past on this track with our young inexperienced batters.

Said this before the match got resumed this morning

:sachin trolling the Aussies now. Wont count on it to really make something out of it but its fun as long as he lasts. :D

With Dhawan clicking straightaway, Rahane will have limited chances for the time being. Unless he can't use every opportunity poor guy would be the first one to be benched and carry drinks.

Rahane :out Aussies right back in it. The pitch is playing like a minefield. Lyon bowls and the ball rears up like a spitting cobra :shastri

Lyon or Lion? India falling apart. A lead of 50 could be decisive here, whoever gets that lead.

This is the key wicket coming up, Dhoni or Tendy.

Watto should get Lyon off and bowl short at Dhoni, he will boss Lyon. I have no faith in Watto to work that out though.

OZs have scored 60 too many runs for my liking in their 1st Inning. Not much batting left for India after the current pair on the crease.

I must give credit where it's due, Its a Very good spell of spin bowling from Lyon :14:

Rahane had to stay for India.. He is apparently the best against spin in this side

Good yorker from Patto, unfortunately the guy at the other end has some skills.

Great to see Lyon bowl well here after the belting he has copped. Warne just made a good point that the quicks have applied some pressure which helps a lot for the spinner.

From 7/136, 180 was the maximum allowed limit. India gave away 80 too many. And this time it could cost them the game. But Dhoni may have other ideas.

262 looks a decent enough score for Oz unless Tendulkar can bed in

@#$%ing Smith just dropped the Test match

Not having an express quick bowler who could bowl few block-hole deliveries now n then doesn't help our cause either :(

Even if Dhoni gets us out of trouble, it will only paper over teh cracks when it comes to cleaning up the tailenders His captaincy is just

Sachin scored 2 runs more than I expected him to score.

Well bowled Lyon again

No he wont I will be surprisef if granpa doesnt get out next over from Lyon

LOL lasted a bit longer but still

47.5

Lyon to Tendulkar, OUT, that's dead plumb. Lyon has his man. Short of a length, on off, skids back in sharply, past the inside edge, hits him on the knee roll, plumb in front and on the back foot

SR Tendulkar lbw b Lyon 32 (53b 5x4 0x6) SR: 60.37

Aus should win this game. India has to bat last and it doesn't look like that they will take any lead here. Aus just need to make reasonable total in second innings. Pitch is turning with uneven bounce. Last inning will be difficult.

Finally some good cricket.

Could be a bit like that one ten years ago where it ends up being 100 vs 100 in the final innings

Mahrajadhiraj shree shree sir ravindra anirudhha Singh jadeja gets of the mark with a boundary

Lyon to Dhoni, 2 runs, short of a length, turning in, Dhobi goes back and whips it to leg.

Cricinfo will be sued. :(
