Ashwin hammering the 'king of swing'
Ashwin is a proven all rounder i think now

Terrible captaincy and bowling. Frustrating
Heavy rain forecasted for tomorrow..
Cyclone in arabian sea
We need to get our heads clear. Ashwin may look good for a no.8 batsman but he's still a no.8 batsman for gods sake. Could've easily tempted him to hit over the top early in the inns but Cook refused to attack for apparently no reason at all, now paying the price. Cookie is still new to captainship and hopefully he'll learn.
Single 32 runs lead STUMPS. Match will go to fifth day. Great play by Ashwin. The only player amongst 11 who fought.
Look like tailenders rattled you guys![]()
unfortunate for india .. suuny weather expected tomorrow
With the BAT
Ashwin's innings does not hide the fact that there are too many deadwoods in our squad which need to be get rid of quickly if we want to see our squad challenging the opposition consistently.
Barring 1st test, England have been too dominant with bat, ball and in the field. Our players appears to have surrendered too meakly without putting any sort of fight.

I hope for India's sake that they don't manage to scrape a draw out of this. It'll send the wrong message that changes don't need to be made and they won't improve.
if anything Ashwin highlights the problem of the specialist batsmen even more. I'm not bashing Ashwin he's a good bat for a bowler, in fact he might even be the best test bat out of any of the current bowlers today. But if guys like Ashwin are performing on this pitch, why aren't guys like Gambhir, Tendulkar, Kohli etc. These guys have all got more batting talent, better technique and more experience.Ashwin's innings does not hide the fact that there are too many deadwoods in our squad which need to be get rid of quickly if we want to see our squad challenging the opposition consistently.

Who knows if India change their coach things can become better? Fletcher has looked pathetic. The same team which won respect in South Africa, England and Australia is giving disgraceful performances here, there and everywhere.
Fletcher is a much worse coach than Greg Chappell. Under Chappell, they didnt lose this badly.
Is it forecast to rain all day?
That's the only way a draw is happening.

The indians could quite easily dig the pitch up over-night and blame it in terrorists from across the border
Well we Indians dont think like you guys lol
If we think like that there will be no difference
Heavy showers predicted for first 2 sessions
