lol at some of these posts...India were 50/0 and then 86/0 in the third Test

Only on PP is the bowling team written off at 46/1

:125:

JibranAnsari disappeared from this thread pretty quickly after his 420 AO prediction :91:

Mushtaq ahmad is behind this. He mixed something in the tea for indians. now indians are getting out and rushing to the toilet..#indiaTV

Brilliant spell from Anderson. Just a few overs left now. Can India hang on. For now.

20 minutes to stumps so I guess 3-4 overs max.

This Siddhu guy is very hilarious.....I am enjoying his hindhi.....yaar

kapil, Ramiz, Siddhu are having a real ball in the commy box

Dhoni's technique is so poor for Tests, no wonder his overall record is so ordinary

Kohli will be the big wicket now. After Ashwin.

what a trashing by ENG. great stuff. now even on their home turf they are being beaten badly. what is the excuse now??

anderson is legend in the making and hope he does much better in the future. good to see a underdog india team facing us this time.

As expected not a single criticism of India's RR from any corner, which is now the same as/below England's

congrats James,Robert,rooster,malakian n other English posters,well done:14:

Forget RR. The point of relevance for the Indian batsmen is that whether they've avoided soiling their pants or not:razzaq

Pujara was out - It hit his glove - dont know why people are saying its a bad decision

Bresnan is now a certified medium pacer, don't know how he gets ahead of Onions

85/4...whats wrong with this team seriously?? this is the same pitch where debutant root played so well...same pitch where prior showed better class than pujara...what happened to our team, ? we used to be so good under Kirsten

@TheCricketGeek
It's a shame, but now I can't see Tendulkar going on past the 2019 World Cup

Ho ho ho.

Just looked at :msd cricinfo profile for the heck of it and noticed he hasn't scored a single 100 outside the SC. Four 100s in Ind and one in Pak from well over 100 innings.

England day once again.

Have to say jimmy anderson has been very impressive in this series with the ball.

Also making tendulkar his bunny is hilarious.

Time to check the Indian cricket forum for a bit of self flagellation :133:

Common man it's all for fun, Maybe you'll thrash us in ODIs 👍

yes maybe,we r still a decent ODI team

but gotta appreciate the efforts of English in this series n congratulate my English friends here:)

He has 7 hundreds in ODIs but none outside SC as well

Bresnan and Bell have be poor, the latter has had a lean year away from home.

Bresnan lacks something I can't put my finger on, but it seems the batsmen are more than happy to play him rather than they would be Woakes or the other 2 available.

Bresnan has lost pace and bite since the operation on his arm, sad for him and not sure he'll be the same bowler again. Gulf in class between the Melbourne Marauder and this innocuous county player

As you've seen we have very few problems defending spinners but going after spinners is a different ball game altogether.

Well match is not over yet but India in big trouble none the less. Hold your congrats for a while.

Agreed, unless Bresnan can gain his pace back it's back to Yorkshire for him.

We need to identify our top bowlers for ashes and keep them rotating. 10 tests in quick succession is asking hell of a lot from bowlers. Onions, Meaker, Woakes and everybody out there should be rotated wisely.

Tendy needs to score 288 or 238* in the 2nd innings to end up with an average of 50 for the series. He currently averages 18. He is actually the worst-averaging specialist Indian batsman in this series.

Trivia for the day: Collingwood's English language textbook didnt contain the letter "g"

No more wickets fo the day.

Thrashing will begin tomorrow.

only 10 neede now,we'll do that after a big lead on 4th day:D

Finally time of thrashing came...

chance missed...gambhir is lucky that prior is behind the stumps

Time for "Master class" .

Atleast we tried in start..will pickup again once a partnership built. :)

Clueless optimism from typically clueless Indian fans. It's funny to think that yesterday several of you were saying that England were batting for the draw and that India's batsmen would score more runs at a faster rate.

India's struggle on this pitch just shows how much better we have been as a batting, bowling and fielding team than India throughout the series.

dunno about others, but mine was a tongue in cheek comment, notice the smiley

Well done England. Their hunger for success is there to see - 330 off 145 overs was a monumental match winning score on this ground. India now has neither skill nor temperament to play out that many overs on this ground, so 3-1 is almost there. IPL or Indian Procession League is helping them make a quick procession to the pavilion. :)
