Pretty much agree with all your points but you're underrating RR's batting and overrating their bowling. Bhatia with his slow good-length deliveries will get absolutely murdered by Miller and Maxwell, while I believe this will be the season the age-factor finally catches up with Tambe.
Samson and Rahane/Watson at the top is formidable for any side and they have the capability to hit big. Rahane will be best utilized in the opening spot when the fielders are inside the circle. I think he can be the guy who can consistently provide 55-60 runs at a SR of 115+. Samson is Samson and as somebody else said, this is Smith version 2.0. He can do anything!
I think my assessment of RR bowling was right, but I might have over-estimated the KXIP batting because they seem to have lost the attacking edge that gave them so many wins last year.
They were trying to attack. But their shots just weren't coming off due to some really good bowling by Rajasthan.
After this match I have revised my assessment of Smith. I have to accept that in the last 12 months he has changed to a massive extent and is now a godly player. His stats were awful in ODI till then but he has demonstrated a huge change and is now a legitimate boss. I didn't know about Hooda who played well.

Yes, mate. He's just in the form of his life and when you're in the zone he's in, it doesn't matter which format it is, you step up and that's what he's going to do in this IPL.
Your assessment of RR's bowling was spot on. I actually didn't expect the pitch to be so green and this fact actually helped RR more than Punjab.
So after all the pounding he dished out to SA in SA in tests, Pak in ODIs, India in ODIs, India in tests, WC...you finally change your mind after a good expected IPL performance?
Just curious.
