Lets end this stupid curse of losing the decider matches. Come on, boys.

2 changes expected Maqsood and Gully bhai to make way for Annu and Rizzu
i believe Gully should have been given all 3 games . Anwar a better t20 batsmen then Maqsood so only that change for me

Wishing both team luck.

Hoping for an interesting match. The previous two were tame at the end so hope we have down to the wire stuff this time atleast

Also, apologies in advance to NZ fans for demoralizing defeat today. I hope their cricket recovers.

For the love of God and all things holy, what's the infatuation with Anwar Ali....Why can't we play Yamin instead of this crouching leg side slogger. Ugh Afridi is always gonna play his chamchas.

Crouching leg side slogger is the most perfect definition of how anwar bats.

Not as optimistic as I was after the first game lol, but let's hope we pull this off. :uakmal

This should be the team for today:
Shehzad.
Hafeez.
Rizwan.
Malik.
Akmal.
Afridi.
Imad.
Anwar.
Sarfaraz.
Wahab.
Amir.
Both Anwar and gul are crap 10+ econ. rate bowlers but Anwar can slog atleast some at the end, so I will go with him.Maqsood should go to home untill he has Hafeez sized tummy and can run around in the field to save us from further embrassment.

I would have rizwan replacing sarfraz and yamin replacing maqsood.

Legspinner Todd Astle's brief return to the New Zealand cricket team is over after he was released from the squad to rejoin Canterbury.

Black Caps management confirmed Astle wouldn't be required for Friday night's third and deciding T20 international against Pakistan in Wellington, and would fly south to Christchurch to play in Saturday's one-day semifinal against Central Stags at Hagley Oval.

It means fellow legspinner Ish Sodhi looks assured of being one of the three New Zealand slow bowlers in the World T20 tournament in India in March, after what appeared to be a head-to-head battle with Astle for one spot.

Astle, the form spinner of domestic cricket who played his only test against Sri Lanka in 2012, had two tough outings against Pakistan. He took 0-28 off three overs in the 16-run defeat in Auckland then bowled a solitary over for 13 in New Zealand's 10-wicket victory in Hamilton.

His departure reduces the Black Caps squad to 12 for the Pakistan match, with one of the fast bowlers Trent Boult, Matt Henry, Adam Milne or Mitchell McClenaghan likely to carry the drinks at Westpac Stadium.

Oonly hope we have is if we bowl first. Were terrible chasers but defending on this ground against some amazing batsmen is too difficult. Play yamin instead of Gul, strengthen batting, bowl first and hope for the best

I recall Sodhi as the one bowler who really troubled Azhar and wouldn't get out.

I don't like the thoughts of us chasing... Lets see what happens.

Guess we lost the toss? Last 5 teams who have won here have chased.

Good News , Today want to see Amir bowling full 4 overs under no scorecard pressure to help him

After the record stand in the previous game, Pakistan opt to bowl first in the decider

WHY GOD WHY???? Why Anwar Ali? I hope he gets beaten left and right so we can finally play Yamin instead of this crouching legside slogger.

Anwar Ali = Crouching Chamcha Hidden Duddoo

You got your team.

LOL choked at the toss. Since when can we chase

But is good practice.

why would we give nz opportunity to score as big as they can. they wont score below 200 atleast unless we take some early wickets.

Good decision followed by bad (Dropping Maqsood and bring Anwar Ali) + Ahmed Shehzad :facepalm::facepalm:
