Pakistan (143/2) clinch a historic ODI series win with a commanding 8-wicket victory over Australia (140) in the 3rd ODI, securing the series 2-1

Husnain needs to get his money back from that "speed camp"

His pace has went down significantly.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because even Haris is around the early 140 kph's but Husnain has been really disappointing.
 
Jake Fraser mcgurk smashed some indian trundlers in that circus league and he was overhyped like he is the 2nd coming of viv Richards.

I like him though but he should be developed properly he has got talent but he should be nurtured properly

They were poor in the 2nd odi, However that team can compete. This team can't

Have you at least claimed that the B teams of the top teams are great bc they groom their players really well?
 
Stoines and Maxwell are very dangerous, they can smash any bowling line up on their day. So Pak has to be cautious here. I think they are already eyeing that 5th bowling option which can help them to sneak into the game
 
Rauf needs to utilise full length of the creasee..that one step is dif between a good bouncer and a very short pitched wide delivery
 
Despite the boundary, it's been pretty good bowling from Rauf this over. Tons of close chances & misses.
 
It's quite concerning how all of these 4 pacers have lost significant pace. None of them should have lost their pace this significantly. If it happened to one then sure, he must've been managed badly. Two would be pushing it. All four??? Even Rauf is bowling 6-10 km/h less than his previous typical. Same with Hasnain and Naseem before 2024. Let's not even talk about Shaheen, but this whole thing is ridiculous and quite questionable

Australia is going to the dumpsters because it’s doing what people have been advocating Pakistan should do.
They have basically ignored their First Class performers and blooded one dimensional stroke makers from the BBL in ODI cricket and their (lack of) technique is getting exposed on early season spicy pitches.
Go and look at their top 20 Sheffield Shield run scorers last season and none of them are with this team.
Cricket is not 1 dimensional.

Yes that I have. Something similar along those lines.

Regardless the problem wasn't that aus didn't choose B teams. They chose t20 hacks to play odi.

Currently the aus A team is better then this lot.

Mcsweeney and Cooper connelly shpuld have played all 3 games.

Australia literally pulled a pakistan where they decided to take aged has beens and selected new players based of t20 leagues rather then opting for guys who've been avg 40 to 50 in fc.

Yeah very concerning. But may be they have been advised to focus on line and length rather than just spraying all over the place, thats what they did in CWC'23

He should start playing Sheffield or he’s not going to amount to anything except in leagues and extremely flat pitches on dead straight bowling

They're going with him in BGT because he's used to the conditions at home.

Haven't seen him bat, he may end up as a good ODI player but no way Aussies are going to open with him in ICC tournament so early in his career

Very good point. I always say that value your first class cricket. Pick players who are good both in FC and list A. Don't pick players in odis because they are good in t20

JFM had already debuted I think before T20 WC but they didn't take him to WC.

He has played on either side of the tournament
 
Hasnain is bowling well here.... Aussie batters just not been able to hit him atm
 
Good thing for us but not great to see a young guy trying to make his way in the game going off. Hope it's nothing too serious.

JFM needs to play fc, an avg of 18 in fc lol.

If he doesn't play fc, then he can forget about replacing Warner. Same goes for short as well.
