I agree, this is what I will go with moving forward if Fakhar fails again today. I still believe a performing Fakhar is vitally important, so I’m counting on him to come good. If Fakhar does, then Abdullah sits out and will come in for Hafeez once Hafeez retires. Otherwise, Babar, Haider, Abdullah is a great top 3 to develop.

Nothing against Abdullah, from what I've seen, he's a long format batsman. If he is mistakenly played,he should open the innings. Simple.
I can see Abdullah succeeding in the test and odi formats easily. Just hope he isn't discarded due to being played the wrong format to start with.
