I don't think so. England bat deep.
But, Pakistan probably should've bowled first.
They do but they wouldnt have lasted in these conditions

I think Pakistan may get all out between 250 and 300. Let's see.
Pitch is good, top order is not.
His bowling analysis and expertise?
What do you get with Ramiz except for outlandish ideas and pathetic one-liners?
He had one chance which the England team did not review. Abid Ali got two chances.Azhar had three chances and could muster only 20.
Analysis? The guy is clueless. Got his knickers into a twist when Athens (I think) asked him about whether Naseem was bowling from wider of the crease compared to previous games. Was quite a funny little debacle. His bowling analysis and expertise?

Played out 85 balls on demanding conditions, then gets out in probably Anderson’s last over of spell (now it should extend). Azhar is finished actually- old Azhar would have stayed till tea at least after this.
No it isnt good it's a bowling wicket first up it's not flat thiers swing and seem

His commentary is limited to either reading the scorecard, the “I’ll tell you a story from my day”- taking all the focus away from the action at hand, and my personal favourite the, “I actually had a chat with him this morning” every time a Pakistani player does well.
Ramiz is a clown but Wasim is on another level of poor.

You will get that in England, its early doors, have some faith.
There was one more where he edged one ball onto his stump but the bails didnt fall
Dont think it quite touched/hit the stumps...
I’ll take Ramiz over Wasim any day. Atleast Ramiz can be entertaining
Disappoiting from Azhar Ali, though I am a big fan of his. All he had to do was score a 40 - 45 runs ...
34 overs and not a single over of spin.

Dont need spin
It won't go down as a chance but a matter of huge luck. But I get where you are coming from. There was one more where he edged one ball onto his stump but the bails didnt fall

This is Mohammed Amir type of conditions. He would be a handful here.
If the sun doesn't shine after rain .... it might be a bad idea, batting first. But who knows.
Only two wickets in 34 overs and you think this is a Bowl First wicket?
I would have agreed if Pakistan was 35-7 at lunch.
I agree but you need some spin to avoid slow over rate. Skipper can get suspended.
Rain is forecast throughout the test. Doesn't matter if you bowl first or not, PAK pacers will get these conditions to bowl in too.
is ball hit the wickets too yet the bails didnt budge i would say thats like a chance..99% they falHe had one chance which the England team did not review. Abid Ali got two chances.
Eng needs stadiums with a roof at least for test cricket.![]()
Wonder how long this going to be ..... Wet and slow outfield with strong winds and swinging conditions. Even with Dom Bess, england still in favour.
just seeing the IK - Atherton interview during rain break. Athers questioning him about the dropping of Majid Khan despite him being cousin and hero of Imran.
Shame our management and captain don't have the bottle to drop players that deserve it.
Why did Pakistan bat first stupid decision they could have rolled england over within 2 sessions
It looks like horror movie. No crowd and such a dark sky.
Why are we batting first?
Why are we batting first?
This sort of stop start will always favour bowling side - bowlers are getting rest in between, but batsmen will have to start all over again. Won’t be surprised if PAK loses a wicket or two just after restart.
One has little confidence in bowling when Woakes and Jos played like that. This is a bat first wicket anyways
He had one chance which the England team did not review. Abid Ali got two chances.
And please note - the CAPTAIN took that decision - nobody even remembers who the Head Coach or Chief Selector were!just seeing the IK - Atherton interview during rain break. Athers questioning him about the dropping of Majid Khan despite him being cousin and hero of Imran.

Precisely!IK also pointed out the importance of a captain in cricket and how he leads the team on and off the field whereas other sports have a coach/manager who's in charge of the team's performance.

Anderson dismissing batsmen most number of times in Tests:
11 - Peter Siddle
9 - M Clarke/ D Warner/ S Tendulkar
8 - S Watson/ Azhar Ali
How ?
England bat deep and Pakistan bowling is inexperienced and inconsistent. One partnership by England will seal the game early for Pakistan
And please note - the CAPTAIN took that decision - nobody even remembers who the Head Coach or Chief Selector were!
Yes they bat deep but thier middle order is vunrelable.pakistan strength is thier bowling
