Pakistan reach 259/5 at stumps on Day 1 of the second Test against England

Kamran is playing either fully forward or fully back. That's been the only way to handle spin ever
 
Watching Leach bowl like this and getting this much assistance from the surface on Day 1 makes me think Noman Chacha will eat England alive when the time comes

Quality batters makes a pitch looks easier and poor ones the opposite. Its true.

Bro what do you expect from this management and their understanding of the game? They have reasons to believe Rizwan is a T20 opener and Fakhar is a number 4
 
Bashir has not been very good. The pitch has turn on offer but he has failed to exploit it to good effect. He lacks the ability to bowl in good areas consistently and build pressure.
 
Zimbabar should be ashamed of himself.

Kamran Ghulam would have been much useful instead of that Zimbabar had kamran played all those matches.
 
Both batters need to get 100s here. Inns is finally balanced at moment

He's very inexperienced. Basically picked from club cricket. He needs a couple more seasons under his belt.
 
I guess Shan and Gillespie did not like that shot from Saim. There were two fielders out there and a slight miscalculation could have sent that ball to the hands of a fielder. The captain and coach were rightly worried about that shot as Saim loves to throw his wicket away almost every game.
 
All of a sudden these two are showing authority. Makes me fearful of what Root and Brook might do to our depleted attack
 
Well done to Kamran, shown good technique and temperament to score 50 on debut. Saim should also be applauded for caring his natural attacking instinct to provide Pakistan a solid platform.

Both teams don't. England's attack was very impressive in the conditions except maybe Bashir.

Carse and Atkinson made the ball talk on a dead pitch.

Fakhar failed the fitness test twice recently and I think he would also get dropped from the white ball team.

Parchi = nepo baby. i.e. someone who knows someone in position of power, that is influencing their selection. Bashir does not.

He was selected because iHawk cameras used by umpires in county cricket showed that his high release point could be useful on Indian pitches.

Don't use words you don't know understand the meaning of.

Crase playing his first test exposed the wretched fitness of the PAK pacers. Even in his second and third spells he was banging the ball hard into the dead pitch and at a decent pace.
