Pakistan Under 19s v West Indies Under 19s | World Cup | Palmerston North| 15/1/2010

Very impressive display to get such a big score. Excellent little cameo by Hammad and good innings by the Bab man and the skipper.
 
Seriously this game is just on a scorecard and is more interesting then the current test match vs Aus..

Well done Pakistan-U19 Excelent Job the captain leading from the front fell just short 49,
and a good 129 by Muhammad Babar with 14 Fours and 1 six strike rate of 97.

West Indies need 298 runs to win this game, I think we have our first game in the bag :)

That is too many runs 297 at Under 19 level against a test playing nation is huge. Great innings by the young opener to bat 45 overs at a decent strike-rate.

I think our young captain messed up by bowling himself for 7 overs (really filthy off spin) and underbowling our young leg spinner Carriah. Oh well, let's hope West Indies at least make a match of it.

....and I would like to interject with a round of applause for Ireland who recovered from 36/4 against SA to make 216 and set up what will hopefully be an exciting match (especially if the younger Saffers are chokers too!)

Two ducks in there for the WI and Griffiths out..he was out to Qadir..and the other two fell to Muhammad Babar (is he a good bowler as well?) I guess the guy has to bat and bowl..

I just saw the scorecard and I must say two guys from this present team seem amazing talent/player. They are Babar Azam and Usman Qadir
 
Shehzad has 2, Pakistan should win from here. 194/6, putting the seniors to shame.
