Come one Pakistan team! You still have the upper hand! don't be so pessimistic and play positive. Australia still needs to do a lot to save this test yet alone win it.
 
decisions against aamer this game: ponting, 1st ball; himself to watson 1st ball; clarke on 3 in the 1st innings. also, had katich on 3 at lord's, who went on to top-score with 80.
 
This is ridiculous, Kaneria is bowling alright but with these fields it's impossible to put any pressure on the batsmen. Ponting's one of the best players of his generation and Clarke is an amazing player of spin, they're not going to throw their wicket away to an in-out field.
 
now pak will only get wickets with new ball:) and it will take some time to get new ball...!
 
once again pakistan are probably on the verge of defeat due to a rubish umpiring decision, and the captain will have to take all the blame.
 
I hope all pakistan top six take lesson from Ponting and Clerke how to bat on seaming condition.
 
How many tests is that now that we've lost from a winning position?

I make it 7 in the last 11.

completly agree...a lead of 170 is like gold dust in these conditions..but bowlers have to strike..how much bigger safety cushion is required...now keep blaming kamran, butt or anyone but the fact is someone besides Aamer has to take wickets..

could someone tell me why on earth did pakistan accepted to not use UDRS in this series ?? what did we have to loose by using UDRS when bowling is our strength ???????
 
see how comfortable ponting is against kaneria. kaneria is not in team to take wickets . kaneriay ka wazifa laga hoa hai

well the thing is the decisions in this innings would have been not out even with UDRS!
 
the funny thing is after all these years...Kaneria thinks and really believes taht he is a GREAT spinner...i think he is 1 of the most overrated and crap spinner in the world bc he lacks a cricketing brain
 
When you pad up a delivery,then you lose the benifit of the doubt...And the bowler should be favourite to get the decision in his favour..not the batsman...

I believe faster bowlers need to keep the ball slightly fuller cause asif's last two balls seamed really well. Clarke was out plumb lbw to asif off the last ball, hawkeye confirms it.

kaneria needs to make the ball drift outside off , he's hardly beaten the batsmen. This over asif should get ponting or clarke out.
 
Ponting has been aided and abetted by Rudi thats his final Good by present to pakistan team.
 
It's 50/50 now. Pakistan don't have the advantage anymore.

Need a couple of wickets now, can't wait for the batsmen to get themselves out.

It's a real shame that Gul is off in this second innings.

I predict Asif will be the one to take the next wicket. He has to save us again and get the key breakthrough.
 
Right now is the time to sit back and try to enjoy how Aussies go about turning a match situation in to their favour and how Pakistan implode under the Aussie pressure!!!

Or just take pray hard to god for a bit of a miracle!

and thats where UDRS would have been so useful to Pakistan...yet for some strange reasons, we decided not to use that...
 
when it swings asif works otherwise, he is worse than a part timer.

Kaneria is a good spinner compared to the current spinners around.

In general unless you're warne or murali, spinners don't do a lot of damage and top batsmen don't struggle to play them. They're mostly to conserve runs (and unsettle the batsmen for the other bowlers to get their wicket), and to clean up tailenders (tailenders often find it very hard to bat against spin).

It's the fast bowlers who usually win you the match nine times out of ten.

Well,had UDRS been in place,the umpire's decision would have been upheld because it was only clipping the top of off stumps...

It's very rare for him to get wickets early in his spell.
He gets them late when hes taken about 80 - 100 runs.
 
KANERIA YOU SUCK MAN...can you please retire to let some1 have a chance...but oh you will never retire on ur own bc you are a typical pakistani leach that tries to suck everything out before its plucked out

The PCB,ICC and Sky Sports apparently have to agree costs,PCB may have had to pay a certain amount but they refused,so did the ICC so theres no UDRS.
 
Have a strong feeling Pak will have to wait for the england series to win a test this summer.
 
well......i will never ever admit that aussies are best cricket team coz they always cheat. just count how many matches they have won through bad umpiring (especially against us). shame on you aussies

just started watching...have we had any dropped catches..has it been just good batting or what? I know Ponting was out first ball not given, that's costing us.
